Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 24. We all love a good old midweek schedule. Especially the ‘blink and you’ll miss it’ kind when we have two nights of fixtures that all begin and finish within a couple of hours of intense action. And then we have to take stock, count up our points / injuries and leap / limp onto another new game-week beginning on Saturday.
And it looks like a fairly good spread over both nights in terms of fantasy interest, none of this 4 mid-table clashes on a Saturday afternoon nonsense, as all the interesting ones play out on TV elsewhere. Tuesday sees us with no less than 6 games as Arsenal (and Aubayeyang owners particularly) will be hoping for a spanking of Cardiff, Fulham desperately need a result against a Brighton team who don’t particularly need one themselves, but usually prove to frustrate those who do, Huddersfield look to add another nail to Marco Silva’s Everton coffin, which he seems quite content on constructing himself, Wolves and West Ham battle to see which one will be Jekyll and which one Hyde this week, Ole continues his live job interview at home to Burnley, and Newcastle look to frustrate Pep, probably in vain.
Wednesday is equally intriguing as Sarri takes a fractured / newly motivated* team (*delete as you see applicable) to Bournemouth, Saints and Palace hope to put more / some daylight between each other, Liverpool look to continue their title charge against Leicester and Spurs hope they can field 11 fit players against Watford.

*terms and conditions apply and are available upon request. Management reserve the right to review membership of this league on an ongoing basis. If you enter and win a prize you have to have commented on the site at least 5 times for 8 consecutive months between August 2018 and March 2019 or you will not be considered for a prize. That’s basically 1 comment a week all season, we think that’s a reasonable ask to be considered a ‘regular’.

ODT, I’d just do Hazard>>Sterling as you’d planned. Many/most of us have got Digne so are in the same boat. Your other defenders are good enough to slot in for him this GW (no point in playing him just vs Man C.!) and hopefully you can then replace him with TAA at the weekend without taking a hit.

Having a pretty good gameweek so far with 48 points with Robertson, Hazard and Salah (C) left.
But what to do now? Digne ruined my plans as well. Got 2ft’s and 1,2 itb.
Right now I’m considering just auba to Kun, make Kun captain and then change back to auba again. (I’d rather have auba than Kun).
But then there’s son, don’t feel that I absolutely need him for this weekend, but soon…
What would you do?

Just to be clear: I’m not keeping Digne. He’s suspended, then has blank gw and then bad fixtures. Replacement will be Pereira who has awsome fixtures from gw27 and forward. Until then Doherty, wan b and even bednarek has good fixtures and can all be played…
Don’t worry about Digne, despite the red flag, he does actually have a fixture this GW.
Bench him and play Wan.

I have very similar team and 2FTs as well, I’m planning on Digne –> Pereira and Auba –> Kun…
Will you change digne right away? Don’t really want to play pereira until gw27 but digne’s price will probably drop now…
I will just bench Pereira until GW27, I’d do it anyway in GW27 so might as well do it now to avoid Digne price drop!

Kept one last night without him! Just need to make sure we play Huddersfield in every game from now on
What it does mean though is that we may actually score more now because we will be able to retain possession. As good as he is at getting the ball back his distribution is dreadful.
Was hoping Barrios replaced him, Lerma needs competition for the yellow card pichichi. Don’t look like that will happen now, as it looks like Zenit is willing to pay Boca 20 million for him.

I can see where you are going with it but I think I’d probably want to keep Rashford and I’m not convinced Aguero starts 3 games in 8 days.
Not sure if anyone else has posted it but Pogba is undergoing scans on a thigh injury.
