To fund getting Salah for Sarr, I had 5.9m to replace Jiminez with.
I got Martinelli!!
Got to love when punts work out in this beautiful game
Nice, Kunal. Martinelli’s goal was great – it was a mammoth sprint!
Cheer mate, yeah he looks like a proper talent, he’s got everything it takes to make it big.
These 2FTs are burning a hole in my pocket. Must. Resist. The Urge.
Why Ben?
Why are they burning?
Or why must I resist the urge?
Bit of both.
Quite right Ben, we’re a mile away from the next deadline!
Chill…..
We are indeed miles away!
There should be a support group for us who cant resist those early transfers week after week…
We should be able to hand them over to Init for safe keeping until the day before the deadline! :laugh2:
I have to make the decision [on] the guy who will take the penalty.”
When pressed, the 49-year-old confirmed he had somebody in mind, before joking that goalkeeper Ederson may be next in line.
“Ederson is the best!” Guardiola laughed.
“Believe me, he’s the best taker we have in penalties. Eddy has no blood in his veins, he’s so calm so he could do it.”
Well, I can’t see any reason why he couldn’t take a pen, as long as he buries it, there’s no real rush back to his own goal! If he misses it, on the other hand…
Stop it GP.
Ah so only Liverpool goalies are allowed to get involved then? :wink2:
You and I both know that Pep isn’t going to make Ederson the designated penalty taker! :mosking:
Hmm bear in mind though, if he starts giving assists and goals he will be rotated with the rest of the bunch :wink2:
I’m seriously tempted after reading that too. City defence is getting better and Ederson is nailed.
But yea, would be funny if he missed and then conceded a goal while running back!
Pickford’s a great pen taker. Wrong team, I know, but good to know that there are Chilavert-esque keepers out there!
Rogerio Ceni had São Paulo’s penalty and free-kick duties for a decade. He might be on to something here. Not when Aguero is on the pitch though I don’t think. Need to see this before jumping on it.
This came up a couple of seasons ago I think (towards the end of the season, when City had the title wrapped up). I think the the reasoning why it was unlikely to happen then was that it would be perceived as being disrespectful. A bit like taking the piss.
Context is slightly different now I suppose but the defensive risk is so enormous I doubt it would happen.
Spurs v Norwich
S**t. No Gazza means no GK for me this week.Need to have replacement plans now
Leicester v West Ham
Come on Noble and Cresswell.. 😎
Come on Soy, Maddy and Vardy 😎 !

Lloris is back then
Good spot, s!
