Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 24

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 24. Welcome to midweek madness. This particular GW is spread out over four game-days, spanning no less than 8 days in total. We begin on Tuesday with five games kicking off at 7.30pm as Villa entertain Watford, Brighton go along the coast to Bournemouth, Palace welcome Southampton, Newcastle go to Everton and Sheffield United host Man City. We then have an 8.15pm game as Chelsea and Arsenal face off.

Wednesday sees us with three games as West Ham begin their double game-week with a trip to Leicester, Spurs welcome Norwich and Burnley visit Old Trafford.

Thursday has just the one game with Wolves hosting our other double game-weeker Liverpool.

By the time this GW concludes on the following Wednesday we shall already be half way through planning for GW25 but nevertheless West Ham and Liverpool finally see us out at 7.45pm.

  2. West Ham penalty. Ridiculously soft. Wouldn’t even be a foul in basketball. VAR is a waste of time if it doesn’t correct decisions like that

  3. Was thinking about ditching Vardy and Tammy (for Greenwood and Aguero) prior to them both picking up injuries.

    • Hmm, your thinking seems to be taking on a prophetic element: either that or you have the evil eye and stride amongst us with a cloven hoof.

      Can you warn us about any other players you were ‘thinking’ about?

    • I was slightly surprised not to see Greenwood start – unless your ‘thinking’ is starting to cut down those not even in action.

      • I’d say I’m disappointed. From a real football perspective. Think Greenwood deserves a start with Rashford our.

    There’s only 3 PL games, there’s 4 pundits in the studio and poor Alan is sat in the corridor covering 1 of them :rofl:

    • They have certainly edged him out a bit on Sky recently. Even old Clinton Morrison gets in ahead of him now on Saturdays, although i suspect for PR reasons on that one.

      • They certainly filled their ‘quota’ tonight. Clinton is good, to be fair to him. Certainly better than Charlie. Sue is fine too, someone just needs to have a quiet word with her about that ‘hair-do’ because I can’t concentrate on anything she says for looking at that thing!

        • Haha. All sorts of quotas to fill these days. I don’t mind any of them, except for Tommo, can never get any information from the guy on what the goal was like, even struggle to get any basic detail. But he sure shouts loudly and gets excited, sigh.

        • They’re all good in their own way, it was just odd that he wasn’t allowed in the studio!

        • Maybe he’s carrying a contagious disease, or had particularly bad flatulence tonight, or maybe it’s just a simple case of suffering from some odd compulsion when sat in a small room with other people. Gets flashbacks from a previous life, that sort of thing. Thinks he’s in an Anderson shelter.
