Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 24. Welcome to midweek madness. This particular GW is spread out over four game-days, spanning no less than 8 days in total. We begin on Tuesday with five games kicking off at 7.30pm as Villa entertain Watford, Brighton go along the coast to Bournemouth, Palace welcome Southampton, Newcastle go to Everton and Sheffield United host Man City. We then have an 8.15pm game as Chelsea and Arsenal face off.

Wednesday sees us with three games as West Ham begin their double game-week with a trip to Leicester, Spurs welcome Norwich and Burnley visit Old Trafford.

Thursday has just the one game with Wolves hosting our other double game-weeker Liverpool.

By the time this GW concludes on the following Wednesday we shall already be half way through planning for GW25 but nevertheless West Ham and Liverpool finally see us out at 7.45pm.

      • I need Mane to blank tonight…. and Salah to get a hat trick…… i only captained him…….. but everyone else TC’d Mane.
        I do have Mane though, but they dont have Salah…lol

    • Mane will get a hat trick … of assists setting up all of Salah’s hat trick of goals and 3 BPS. :wink2:

    • Hopefully we will see a Triple Captain Kane performance from a couple of seasons ago from both Mane and Salah! I have Mane but missed the deadline and my captain was left on KDB!

      • Igy, I hope you are not talking about DGW 22 in January 2018. Millions, including me went to TC Kane. The total was 9 points. :no: He failed to deliver against Swansea and West Ham. It was tragic. At the same time Son 12p and or Alli 10p would have been much better for TC. We don’t want this again

        • What’s even more tragic (or relieving, which ever way one wants to look at it) is that during that season I didn’t TC Kane in that January double and yet that was my worst ever season of playing FPL… So it’s a great lesson of even if you don’t ef up the TC chip you still have plenty of other opportunities during a single season to ef up big time!!! :rofl:

        • Zed, you can hardly blame us for chancing the TC on him.
          He had a hatrick in each of the previous two games against Southampton and Burnley. The funny bit is that everyone got so pissed off and sold him, only him coming back next week to score a brace against Everton :laugh2:

  2. So the Noble punt didnt go so bad. Brought him in because of penalties, and penalty he scored.

    Hoping he scores a couple against Liverpool too. :bop:

  5. What a nightmare gameweek. HAHA! Geeezzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Hearing Mane might be rested tonight? Doesn’t really matter as I have him, not capped though… Vardy to Kun an idea for the next gameweek?

    • I am thinking the same. Would have to sell Maddison for Fleck to do it.

      • Hmmm. Was thinking ummm Martial to a 6.2 midfielder and Vardy to BigKun! Martial and United seem dead waste…

      • Ahh – you’re having conversations with yourself, while waiting for everyone to get home from work. I did this the other day and came across a right loony! (Maybe it’s true!). Don’t worry Raz – the Brits are all on their way home from work! smile Worry about the trades later on – all the excitement (and impending anti-climax!) is centred round the first Pool match. Might be disappointing for many of us (but hopefully not for me!!!! Aren’t we all so altruistic when it comes to FPL points – BTW I’m currently doing badly, but who gives a rat’s bum!).

        • Ah – I’d give anything for a nice sushi platter (and a cold glass of white wine! I’ll just have to wait for the 1st Feb!). What I love in Holland is the large number of Indonesian restaurants (I haven’t seen a single one in France!). Rijsttafel! Hel lecker! smile

    • Kun may miss GW28 assuming Man City make the league cup final. So would probably for 3 weeks and out again. He may be rotated, so maybe 2 GW appearances for 2 transfers in plus 1 out…
