Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 24

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 24. Welcome to midweek madness. This particular GW is spread out over four game-days, spanning no less than 8 days in total. We begin on Tuesday with five games kicking off at 7.30pm as Villa entertain Watford, Brighton go along the coast to Bournemouth, Palace welcome Southampton, Newcastle go to Everton and Sheffield United host Man City. We then have an 8.15pm game as Chelsea and Arsenal face off.

Wednesday sees us with three games as West Ham begin their double game-week with a trip to Leicester, Spurs welcome Norwich and Burnley visit Old Trafford.

Thursday has just the one game with Wolves hosting our other double game-weeker Liverpool.

By the time this GW concludes on the following Wednesday we shall already be half way through planning for GW25 but nevertheless West Ham and Liverpool finally see us out at 7.45pm.

  1. Jurgen Klopp confirms Sadio Mane’s injury was a muscle tweak.

    • Commiserations eresh12. You never know, though.

    • He should have been rested. There was this rumour he was gonna be… People were afraid. This is much worse.

    • Have quite a few days to rest. But with southampton a few days after that, i think its likely he will miss west ham anyway

    • I imagine whoever ‘they’ are didn’t foresee an injury in the first 33 minutes of it!

      • glad I didn’t triple anyone I know you can’t foresee these things, but glad I kept it in the locker for another double gameweek

        just have to worry about mane and Vardy now

        • Liverpool are not finished, so non-TCers aren’t quite out of the woods.

    • I’m going to get less than the 29 points I got last week, team of deadbeats I have.

        I’ve always had a sneaking suspicion OR isn’t such a big deal with you.

        • No, holding Mane to see what they say about him.

          You have to admit that from the players in that team 29 last GW and 25 thus far is poor for those players.

        • A lot of people have had a crap week so far. Highlights have been few and far between. But time yet, Terminator.

    • Still 5 points more than me, last gw was my lowest gw rank this season. This gw will be even worse :explode:

  4. current jimmy owners, are you planning to keep him? he has manu, leicester and spurs in the next 4 gws

    • Yes, definitely. He brings home the bacon more than enough and I doubt Wolves will be overly concerned with those fixtures. What a side. Took 6 points off Man City. I hope they really push for 4th. May not happen but I’d be delighted to see it.

    • Selling Jimenez for Ings gw23 was a poor desicion by me.

    • If vardy is out I’d be having him on the watch list to come in. Wolfs love playing the big teams

  6. Whats the news on Vardy and Mane’s injury? Keep them or sell them? I know still there are quite a few matches before next GW and probably a LEI BGW in 28 (with 25-27 not that great).
