Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 24

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 24. Time to get the show on the road once again and we start down at the south coast for the lunchtime fare as Chelsea visit Brighton. Six 3pm matches follow as top-6 stragglers Arsenal host the slowly improving Crystal Palace, Man Utd take the short trip to Burnley, Everton welcome West Brom, Leicester entertain Watford, Stoke clash with Huddersfield and in what should be a more entertaining affair, Bournemouth go to West Ham.

The evening match sees Newcastle entering the lion’s den as they look to stop Kun, KdB et al at the Etihad. Sunday sees just one fixture and it’s another London team travelling south as Spurs go to Southampton.

Our game-week concludes on Monday with Swansea hosting free-scoring Liverpool.

  1. With Christensen being annoying to say the least who’s the best replacement at 5.5 or less? VVD, Stones, Mustafi, Maguire?

    • Maquire!
      Bps magnet,good schedule ahead,goal threat…
Best value for that amount of £.

    • Who else you got in the team SAF?

All those you mention seem decent options if you want to spend that kind of money

      • Got Jones, Alonso, Kenny and Ogbonna

        • you could get away with a cheap option (I’m looking at Baeur) with those.

I’d think Maguire might be best bet of those

        • Just seen on twitter that Conte has said that Christensen will be available for the next game

        • Hmm. I’m half doing the move to get the extra 0.1 to do Son to Mahrez. Still think it’s worth it?

        • Who is Bauer? I could get him if he can bank me the 0.1 and keep Christensen. I’ll check him out

        • Ya I’d like Mahrez for Son. Bauer is the new right back for Stoke. They have some nice fixtures and might get a Lambert bounce.

        • Not convinced by Stoke defence tbh but i think i’ll keep Christensen and swap out Kenny for a 4.4. He seems like he may lose his place soon anyway plus I have Pickford so that’s covered. Thanks for the advice

        • Short term Tomkins at 4.3 might be your best 4.4 option

        • Tomkins has some terrible fixtures ahead. Could get Kelly if I want tho for 0.1 less.

Martina could be a sideways move from Kenny. Who will Coleman replace when he’s fit?

        • Next 3 are ok – go to shit then.

Coleman could be a while coming back. Look at Bolasie. On bench today I think for Walcott

  2. Hi everyone
What would you do with this lot? 1FT, 0.1 ITB

    Lots of issues
    – Christensen seems open to rotation with Cahill due back the next game and Luiz an option also
    – DCL – has lost his place
-Richarlison – really gone off the boil big time
    – RLC needs dealing with at some stage

Could get Jones (bonus magnet) and double up or Maguire .

Not seeing great options elsewhere at the prices I have – maybe a Joe Allen punt

    • Dreamers. See my reply in 64

      • cheers SAF – short on that trf by 0.2

        • Ahh. How about just Vert > Jones? That should work. I’d prefer Fraser or Albrighton as midfield options to replace Richardson. Those two transfers should bank you a bit to upgrade elsewhere

        • Vert to Jones is an option for sure. Cheers mate

    • Vert+Rich -> Maquire+Ox…

  3. 74pts and 90k places movement up the ladder !!
Let’s hope now Lane stays quiet so all of this can make sense!!
    #DifferentialCpt #Kun #Top1%

    HL

  4. I thought about it a while and drafted a really long reply then just thought why not do Vert & DCL > Jones & Wilson. Jones keeps or taking in points and Vert has terrible fixtures. Wilson at least plays too.

Long term I’d look to downgrade a defender and add a bit in midfield

  5. 60 points with Firminho, Salah and Kane to go.

  6. Time for Kane to Aguero?

    Or am i chasing points?

Got to rid myself of Christiansen too…i cant stand another 58 minute cameo…
