Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 24
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 24. Time to get the show on the road once again and we start down at the south coast for the lunchtime fare as Chelsea visit Brighton. Six 3pm matches follow as top-6 stragglers Arsenal host the slowly improving Crystal Palace, Man Utd take the short trip to Burnley, Everton welcome West Brom, Leicester entertain Watford, Stoke clash with Huddersfield and in what should be a more entertaining affair, Bournemouth go to West Ham.
The evening match sees Newcastle entering the lion’s den as they look to stop Kun, KdB et al at the Etihad. Sunday sees just one fixture and it’s another London team travelling south as Spurs go to Southampton.
Our game-week concludes on Monday with Swansea hosting free-scoring Liverpool.

If they pay a lot of money for a player then they lose face if it doesn’t pan out, so they try and force it no matter what!

Just entered it not that long ago, it feels like every season I spent half of it trying to recover from the abysmal start. One of these years I am going to put a full season together and finish real high….one of these years…I hope.
One of my first seasons I almost ended up in top 10 after a few gameweeks. After that I sucked monkeyballs though. ^^
Been there for a while now and I have to say it’s dead boring!
Made it my mission this year to have a good start for once and not have to play catch up for once. And now I’m just boinging around a bit, up and down a few spots because we all have basically the same teams! At least last season was exciting trying to chase and even better achieving it. Not doing this again, next season I want to be at 500k at Christmas again and try to recover as normal 
1st world problems!

Always thought it was pretty pointless placing emphasis on your rank or whether you gave a green arrow or not on a Saturday night and I did it myself sometimes. Much better to compare your rank week to week at the end of the gameweek.

I do GP just a bit buzzing to see my rank that high after a long hard season, suspect after the games today and tomorrow I will be around 165k

Another bad gameweek in making.. i never do it and have never done it before. But, want to share the team of my rival who is about 120 points ahead of me right now. He’s kind of following the top teams and hence every week preparing for his team. What should I do? Thinking of playing WC and making a totally different team. Suggestions please..

Cheers Smash.. He’s been lucky all season. Majorly me not getting Firmino and Sterling for long cost me too much..He still has his TC , WC, BB left. He’s used his Freehit though. Really need to win this as a lot is at stake
He’s got the essential players but his other midfielders are awful. Lingard might have dried up now and just looks worse because of Aguero points. One he probably didn’t touch, pen was almost saved and other a tap in. Just one of those weeks

Agreed. I prefer your team. Play the long game, no need for rash changes. You can catch them for sure. Just looks worse because of kun capt this week.
Essentially, i want some differential picks. Surman , Mariappa, Elliot, DCL not starting anymore is also a big headache. We have 6 players in common
Yeah I totally get what you mean but those similar players are solid scorers and decent picks. Those you’ve listed are the ones I would make changes to. Also Pope with Heaton on his way back.

Medicine and rehabilitation has advanced so mush in recent times that recovery chances are so greater. Hopefully we’ll see Coleman back soon as an example.
Lot of it is mental attitude though so the player has to have that.
