Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 24

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 24. Time to get the show on the road once again and we start down at the south coast for the lunchtime fare as Chelsea visit Brighton. Six 3pm matches follow as top-6 stragglers Arsenal host the slowly improving Crystal Palace, Man Utd take the short trip to Burnley, Everton welcome West Brom, Leicester entertain Watford, Stoke clash with Huddersfield and in what should be a more entertaining affair, Bournemouth go to West Ham.

The evening match sees Newcastle entering the lion’s den as they look to stop Kun, KdB et al at the Etihad. Sunday sees just one fixture and it’s another London team travelling south as Spurs go to Southampton.

Our game-week concludes on Monday with Swansea hosting free-scoring Liverpool.

  1. This the same Liverpool team that beat City last week ?? Hopefully Klopp gives them a rocket at half time !!

  2. Boom CS gone 😉

  3. Mahrez or Martial?

  4. Shout out to the handler of the FF247 account right now on Twitter! That Van Dijk tweet got me falling off my chair laughing!

  5. Mane hatrick in the second half then I suppose?
He should have at least one already mind!
Karius has now made 3 saves and conceded 5 goals … 6 if you count Ayew’s one ruled out!

    • I like your confidence mate! 😉

  6. Is there an article or any info about GW28 anywhere? I hear lots of people are prepping for it, but I’ve no idea what’s on the horizon! Thanks.

    • It’s the Milk Cup Final that weekend mate so just depends on who wins the semis this midweek. Obviously the finalists and their opponents in GW28 will then blank. But even then they may not depending on who it is as they could reschedule for midweek.

      • Showing your age there mate!! It’s still the Rumbelows Cup to me.

Ah ok, so not necessarily a massive BGW, but potentially enough to screw many teams.

I wonder if it’ll be free hit time.

        • Check Mito’s comment on that. It’s the 2nd one on the Hot Comments bit.

It was the Milk Cup in my first season of really watching football properly. That was the Everton v Liverpool final.

        • We won our version in 1990. That was the first final I remember. It was known then, and ever since to me, as the Skol Cup!

          Weird eh?

        • Cheers for the heads up. That’s a cracking summary of when to use our chips. It seems I haven’t chose the best time to piss off to Sri Lanka to get married… GW32, 33 & 34! I wonder if she’ll mind if we move the wedding 😉

    • It’s the weekend of the League Cup Final which will take place on the Sunday and only a maximum of two league games (Arsenal v Man City and Man United v Chelsea) can be postponed because of it.
