Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 25

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 25. Back to normality then, no more DGW/TC dilemmas to contend with, for a bit anyway. Back to 10 games within 2 days, done and dusted. None of this waiting around for a week and a bit nonsense.

Leicester and Chelsea kick us off on Saturday in the early one which is followed by a whole raft of 3pm games, none of which look particularly exciting other than perhaps Liverpool vs Southampton. The evening game should perk us up a bit as Nuno takes his Wolves to see what they make of Ole’s United.

Sunday sees us out as quick as we came with two games. The first is a clash of both cultures and perhaps desire as Arsenal visit Burnley. The second sees a clash of a different sort as Jose and Pep renew acquaintances at White Hart Lane, or whatever it’s called these days.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

  1. Just saw, Pope and Leno, both are on just 02 saves each. That must have been a boring game.

    • Not boring…filled with VAR controversies and fighting

    • Quite the contrary, it was one of the better goalless games I’ve seen recently.

  2. Correct me if I’m wrong, but all those people that bought Lundstram at 4.0, now with a selling price of 4.5 and cost price of 5.1 can afford a 0.1 drop and still get the 4.5 selling price, so no big rush to sell just yet!

    • It’s the fact that he’s now considered a gametime risk Padster.

I agree though, I wouldn’t be selling just now – I’d wait until Friday in case any other problems creep up as a result of the FA Cup relays this week.

    • Does anybody know why Besic was not in the squad at all at the weekend?

    • Yes Padster, in that specific situation the next price drop won’t affect you.

But if you bought him at 4.1 then the next price drop will affect you.

I bought at 4.2 so the next price drop won’t affect me.

And so on and so forth.

      • Yes that is what i thought Ben, I see Lundstram is fast approaching the dropzone on fpl statistics and there will be a lot of players selling early to avoid a 0.1 drop they’re not actually going to get :laugh2:

  3. Hello, guys!
Doing some early planning, as my budget is a bit tight and have to look out for price changes. 2FT & 0.5ITB.
Thinking of Lundstram->Stevens and Nakamba->Hayden (as I am 0.1 short for the first transfer and Nakamba is blanking GW28). Then next week Holgate->Lascelles*
What do you think? Any better ideas or insights?

*These are all planned if there are no unpleasant injury updates.

    • Tornado,

I’d aim for Traore of Wolves for one of your lesser midfielders there. If you went Cantwell to Traore and downgraded Guiata to McCarthy, would that work out?

      • Hey, GP!
Thanks for the reply! It’d work but is Traore ready to play? Also, I am slightly concerned about his minutes because of EL games. What do you think about the rotation risk?

  4. Thinking of potentially wildcarding for gw27. Thoughts on this team? Happy with the front 3 not entirely sure of the midfield
