Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 25

From one DGW to another, in quick succession, we may have to get used to this.

Leeds book-end this one by kicking off our GW on Friday night away at Wolves @ 8pm.

Southampton are the other team with a double and they begin theirs on Saturday @ 12:30 at home to Chelsea. Jeff then has the excitement of Burnley vs West Brom to report on @3pm before we get to a derby 6-pointer as Everton visit Anfield @ 5.30pm. Fulham and Sheffield United see us out on Saturday @ 8pm, if anybody can be arsed. They won’t be.

The West Ham Cup Final kicks us off on Sunday as Spurs visit the dildo laden lot @ 12pm, Villa welcome Leicester @ 2pm, City will destroy Arsenal @ 4.30pm and Newcastle go to Old Trafford @ 8pm.

Our ‘normal’ GW ends on Monday as Brighton host Palace @ 8pm.

Our extended GW ends on Wednesday as the doublers of Leeds and Saints meet @ 6pm.

The games in full…

Is this good enough to BB? Don’t feel I need to WC?
    0 mib and 4ph taken.
    Cheers all!

In terms of risk of injury, is skydiving, bullfighting or Liverpool centre half the more dangerous sport ?

Looking ahead, and planning for next week.
I am looking to bring Kane in, but to do that I will need to ditch Jesus (now Aguero is back, I feel he is at risk of rotation), but I need to find 1.9m from somewhere.
    My options are:
    a. Salah out for a cheaper midfielder
    b. Fernandes-> decent midfield replacement
    c. Antonio->4.4/4.5m striker that may or may not play (Brewster as an example

and use TC on Kane for gw26.

    Thoughts please.

Salah’s got Sheffield next – that’s an important game to get their mojo back. I’d imagine he’d do well. Tricky one! Does downgrading Son to Grealish work?

      Not much help – sorry!

      • hammerfan_lm says:

no, any help appreciated Loud. Grealish is a good shout. Just wonder whether a double Spurs is better than one. I know Villa play gw29

Its really tough, as ditching Son takes away a Spurs partnership, but I get a Villa player who has 2 good double games (although I think Spurs ones are slightly better)

      Kralin says:

As you are in a ditching Salah mood yet probably need to have three City players, can you manage Salah to Sterling and Jesus to Kane?

      • hammerfan_lm says:

Not in a ditching Salah mode Kralin, that is one of the considerations, but as he has good fixtures, he is one I would probably not do. My concern with City players is peprotation. If I can avoid them to some extent, that would be better. I’d love to keep Son/Salah/Fernandes if I can.

        • Kralin says:

Hard to see then how you’re going to square the circle unless you wildcard.

Depends how desperate you are to get Kane. Vardy or DCL for Jesus may give your reasonable cover – more than reasonable – as you have Son in midfield.

        • hammerfan_lm says:

Well, doing Jesus->Kane, and Antonio->Brewster could do it if price changes go my way this week.

        • Kralin says:

I’m not sure I’d want a non-player cluttering up my side at the moment – or yours. The schedule is nothing but hectic and injuries will be piling up.

As you’ll be getting Kane why not ditch Son? I appreciate GW 29 etc but I’m sure you’ll be able to get him back in somehow – even if you have to wait until 29 to do it.

        • hammerfan_lm says:

Yeah I can se where you are coming from. I do have my wildcard, but was looking to use that gw36.
so, for now, how about jesus->kane, and son->grealish

        • hammerfan_lm says:

ok, well it wont be Son-Grealish, seeing as he is now out injured!!
