Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 25
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 25
From one DGW to another, in quick succession, we may have to get used to this.
Leeds book-end this one by kicking off our GW on Friday night away at Wolves @ 8pm.
Southampton are the other team with a double and they begin theirs on Saturday @ 12:30 at home to Chelsea. Jeff then has the excitement of Burnley vs West Brom to report on @3pm before we get to a derby 6-pointer as Everton visit Anfield @ 5.30pm. Fulham and Sheffield United see us out on Saturday @ 8pm, if anybody can be arsed. They won’t be.
The West Ham Cup Final kicks us off on Sunday as Spurs visit the dildo laden lot @ 12pm, Villa welcome Leicester @ 2pm, City will destroy Arsenal @ 4.30pm and Newcastle go to Old Trafford @ 8pm.
Our ‘normal’ GW ends on Monday as Brighton host Palace @ 8pm.
Our extended GW ends on Wednesday as the doublers of Leeds and Saints meet @ 6pm.
The games in full…

Is it worth holding onto Salah?
Sheffield next; yes . I will be, at least.
+1
LA, Sheffield have conceded only two more goals than pool at home.
It won’t be a walk in the park 😉
True, but I think of all the games in which to get back to winning ways, Sheffield’s surely it.
Big blow to lose Hendo today though!
Prob comes down to what the alternative is
I’m seriously considering going without him on my wc !
Are you on a wildcard?
Not pressed the button yet but pretty sure I will be.
Brooky, I was just going to say that. There will be mass wildcarding for 26 and many will be questioning themselves is Salah essential any longer. Most likely quite a few will switch to Mane just for the sake of the DGW, or even opt for no pool cover :unknw:
Look at his returns since gw 16.He is averaging just over 4 points a game ! Liverpool looked pretty poor again tonight and now Henderson is injured..Deffo something to mull over.
I’d just work out how to get him back on the off-chance Liverpool start winning games again.
2nd top goal scorer in all comps in Europe this season. Or at least he was on Thursday. Just saying….
Congratulations on the win earlier.
Not sure I had a great deal to do with it!
You’d think they’d won the World Cup from some of the reactions I’ve seen.
Come on Init!
That was a massive win. And fully deserved I thought.
I wouldn’t criticise you for getting carried away tonight.
I’s comment was a masterpiece of composed understatement.
It didn’t take much to sense the deep emotional release just hiding slightly out of sight.
Didn’t Burnley win at Anfield the other week?
Everyone wins at Anfield. It’s hard to keep track.
I think it was Brighton actually. My mistake.
Burnley have also won at Anfield this year, 4 in a row Liverpool have lost at home in the league
Hi Stalker, wow, 2 mins. And with contradictory information, shock horror.
Although I think you missed my point there, spectacularly!
The question now is, can Liverpool finish in top 4 this season :scratch_one-s_head:
Sad state if affairs for them. Dreadful injuries. I hope for their sake they can finish top 4.
Wouldn’t shock me were they to win the Champions League
Could be Hard. Form is terrible.
They look a shadow of their former selves ! Injuries and the lack of an Anfield crowd is really taking its toll on them.Jota shouldn’t be far from coming back and should make a difference.
Lucky the 2nd leg against Leipzig is played at a Neutral ground
I played my WC last week and looks like I miscalculated Soton’s DGW. I thought Soton would have a DGW and I would play BB this week. Now I’ve just 10 DGW players (possibly 11 with FT) Should I play BB in anycase?
KP
Did the same mate, got exactly the same problem as you, with the same players too.
Try this..
If you put your DGW players on the bench and sort of hide your SGW players in the starting 11 then BB 26 Looks really great.
That’s what I’ve done anyway…makes me really want to BB, even tho I’m kidding myself obviously.
What’s your plan too dump em for DGW’ers?
My team Lol
Don’t think I’d bench boost that. Also, it’s heavily rumoured on Twitter that Grealish is out with an injury for several weeks. Apparently, several teammates and some backroom staff sold him. Again, these are rumours with no official source, but we’ll find out tomorrow.
Leeboy
Still in two minds tbh
Thanks for the heads up on
Grealish tho.
KP, you look set for a Cap’n Kane x3 :good:
I am looking to offload one of Sterling or Fernandes so I can afford Kane this coming GW. Which one should it be? Much appreciated and hope your gameweeks are looking profitable.
Sterling
Thank you @lacazette
I agree with Little Red.
Easy one Sterling
Am looking forward to today – we’ll get to check the fitness of Kane, see if the Grealish rumours are true (suspect they are), can Leicester penetrate the Villa defence and what will Peptation look like this week?
All good pointers for next week’s big DGW.
…& hopefully not too many peptic ulcers engendered by any of the above.
And Liverpool play today….
I’ve already watched the highlights twice :big-lol:
Knob! 😉
Am I imagining things or did I read that Everton could have a double in 27 or 28?
Nope think it’s more likely 28 with Villa
Yeah its probable in 28 as Smash says – as I understand it it’s dependent on the Europa Cup draw and both of Spurs and Arsenal not being drawn at home first leg. I think. Something like that anyway.
Hmmm…that’s not ideal for someone like me without a FH!
