Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 25. Lovely jubbly, another midweek game-week. There’s always something special about these. Whether it’s games under the lights or just that it breaks up the mundane working week we don’t know but either way they always feel special.
We begin with 3 games on Tuesday with Swansea unashamedly prepping London busses for Arsenal, Moyes spitting feathers in an attempt to find 11 available players to face Palace and Huddersfield fearing the worst against Klopp’s juggernaut.
And then we have a bumper Wednesday with 7 games, all done and dusted within a short few hours. Maybe it’s that finality that is so attractive, but then that may depend on on how it pans out for you. Either way, enjoy!
Wednesday itself sees Chelsea host Bournemouth with many simply waiting to see what Christensen’s latest comical way of lasting 59 minutes is, and screwing us all over in the process. Big Sam’s lumbering Everton host a newly invigorated Leicester, Newcastle and Burnley will probably play out an inevitable stalemate, Saints and Brighton have a derby (as such, just the small matter of 66 miles separating them!) and Spurs vs Man United could potentially be the game of the round. It could also very well be 0-0! And finally Watford’s fancy new Spanish manager Javi Gracia will no doubt fulfil a life long ambition of seeing whether he can indeed cut it on a cold Wednesday night in Stoke.

Thoughts on Leicester back line? Clearly got cracking fixtures, but who is nailed? Would have thought Simpson would have played this week, so is it just Maguire?
AT, Simpson is just coming back from injury and played in the Cup at the weekend, so i’m not surprised he didn’t play last evening – however, I would expect him to regain his place from this weekend onwards assuming he is ok.
Chilwell seems nailed too though Fuchs is always breathing down his neck – however Chillers seems to be preferred by Puel currently.
But yeah, Maguire is the most nailed. And the most expensive.
I would just about be able to afford Maguire if I dropped Son to Walcott. I have neglected my defensive fixture planning and am now left with some horrendous fixtures to contend with at the back.
Interesting you think Simpson will start again though. No chance Amartey retains that spot then?

Arnie and Kane out for Salah and Vardy paid off, but a disappointing week overall- 50 after my hit points came off. Seems a few folk did well though, good shooting!
For next week (1 FT, 1.2m) I am thinking of Masuaku to a Leicester defender and otherwise sitting tight? Or possibly Bauer of Stoke, who seem to be turning things around a little… Better ideas? I don’t want to spend much of that 1.2 m so I can work on my midfield (/ reach Kane from Kun).

I’d probably go with a Leicester defender until we see more of Stoke.

Matt, yeah they should do but I’d prefer Ozil.
@ I would too but I’m 0.6 short of affording him if I want to bring Kane back in. Unless I downgrade Christen to a 4.9 or below defender.
What are people’s thoughts on Aubameyang as a fantasy prospect?
Could be gold if he settles quickly.

Pretty terrible GW. Have one free transfers and 0.7 in the bank. Problems with defenders Makusaku and Kenny. Silva sounded like a knock but not so sure. Tempted to save transfer and reassess but I’m a bit nervous about that because of my bench. Chilwell, Simpson if back and Bardsley seem like replacements
