Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 25
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 25. Lovely jubbly, another midweek game-week. There’s always something special about these. Whether it’s games under the lights or just that it breaks up the mundane working week we don’t know but either way they always feel special.
We begin with 3 games on Tuesday with Swansea unashamedly prepping London busses for Arsenal, Moyes spitting feathers in an attempt to find 11 available players to face Palace and Huddersfield fearing the worst against Klopp’s juggernaut.
And then we have a bumper Wednesday with 7 games, all done and dusted within a short few hours. Maybe it’s that finality that is so attractive, but then that may depend on on how it pans out for you. Either way, enjoy!
Wednesday itself sees Chelsea host Bournemouth with many simply waiting to see what Christensen’s latest comical way of lasting 59 minutes is, and screwing us all over in the process. Big Sam’s lumbering Everton host a newly invigorated Leicester, Newcastle and Burnley will probably play out an inevitable stalemate, Saints and Brighton have a derby (as such, just the small matter of 66 miles separating them!) and Spurs vs Man United could potentially be the game of the round. It could also very well be 0-0! And finally Watford’s fancy new Spanish manager Javi Gracia will no doubt fulfil a life long ambition of seeing whether he can indeed cut it on a cold Wednesday night in Stoke.

Averages are in. 18 after 3 for the top 10k, 14 after 3 for AT and his mates 😉
I’m sat pretty on 22! Didn’t do anything to help the ranking mind.
Where my Clucas people at?
We thinking Mahrez will actually leave for whatever Leicester are asking for? When Pep says he only has 3 forwards, I don’t see why he’d buy Mahrez to help that? He also has some great youth talent that could do the job. Just buying for buying’s sake. Embarrassing.
*To be read with a helping of frustration having just brought in Bernardo.
Also, would Leicester really get rid of their star man on Deadline Day without time for a replacement?
If City pay up, Leicester will sell don’t worry about that. It doesn’t say much for Bernardo, or at least Pep’s faith in him and I think that is the disappointing part of all this. Plus it removes Bernardo and probably Mahrez as a viable FPL option.
I know. Which seems odd to me.
I agree with Cookie here. If Mahrez does leave then I would be selling him and Bernardo. Sickens my stomach to see City spending all this money yet Pep still complains be is restricted by budget. The FFP is the biggest load of rubbish going. PSG and City are the biggest culprits and are still getting away with it.
Matt, if I were you and I mean this seriously, I would be more concerned that your club hasn’t bid for Mahrez……they have the cash…..
Don’t get me started!!
Oh I know!! Liverpool should be spending the sort of cash City are but they are saving it for some stupid reason and people wonder why City are miles better than everyone else. I don’t know if it’s Klopp not wanting to spend the money or if it’s John Henry not giving him the money but either way someone needs a good kicking!
especially given their most recent disposal…..
At least we know how they decide to sell players. The official calendar! January = Couthino
February = Sturridge
March = Can :hippo:
+1 on what Kop said!
I think Liverpool have someone pretty much signed in the summer probably Lemar at Monaco
That won’t count for much if we miss out on the top 4 Smash.
Yeah true. Arsenal seem to be trying their best to mess it up I’m far from happy with the business Chelsea are doing and that leaves that Harry Kane team
@Matt – classic FSG crap. Frustrated Red Sox fan here. Henry refuses to splash cash for the clear hole in the lineup as the Yankees and Astros spend and improve….while we pay the 2nd highest ticket prices in baseball. Shouldn’t come as a surprise to Sox or Pool fans anymore.
@ Colriles – Yeah it really is frustrating and became apparent to me when Liverpool wanted to buy Clint Dempsey and Fulham wanted 7 mil but Henry would only give 4. Just shows how shrewd he is.
As a Fulham fan I was ok with that one! lol
Hahah still shows how tight he is
Sounds like Mangala might me going on loan to Everton.
That might be a decent move for Everton tbh
Dortmund agree loan deal for Batshuayi !!
That’s why Pep was biggin up Mangala then! Sneaky Git!
I have Mahrez … which means I need Wilson to do something tonight!
Think it’ll be worth keeping Mahrez if he joins City. He’ll rotate with Sane no doubt but short term should be decent right?
Hatter
I get the rotation worry which is becoming more and more prevalent in today’s FPL game but a brilliant player goes to a better team and he is immediately on the transfer out list for some. I don’t get it.
If I had him, I’d absolutely hold him. He’s fit, in form and will surely benefit from the better players surrounding him. Until he isn’t playing in more than two consecutive games, I’d keep.
Yeah think I’d keep him to see how he does as you already have him. Could easily go the other way that one as well
Yeah will defo keep him, just a shame he won’t play tonight.
So how much do we think Aubameyang will be? 10.5
Yup
That’s where my money would be.
anyone thinking of taking ???
will watch and monitor Silvers – if he settles he could be gold given the supply line of Mkhi and Ozil.
If Wenger plays him and Lacazette though, we could see PEA shifted out wide…possibly…..
….one to keep an eye on I think.
yes go with that Cookie , lets hope he comes in a bit cheaper 😉
Surely it be Lacazette played off him or a touch wide and not the other way around.
this is Wenger we are talking about here!
Same price as Lacazette…
