Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 25
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 25. Lovely jubbly, another midweek game-week. There’s always something special about these. Whether it’s games under the lights or just that it breaks up the mundane working week we don’t know but either way they always feel special.
We begin with 3 games on Tuesday with Swansea unashamedly prepping London busses for Arsenal, Moyes spitting feathers in an attempt to find 11 available players to face Palace and Huddersfield fearing the worst against Klopp’s juggernaut.
And then we have a bumper Wednesday with 7 games, all done and dusted within a short few hours. Maybe it’s that finality that is so attractive, but then that may depend on on how it pans out for you. Either way, enjoy!
Wednesday itself sees Chelsea host Bournemouth with many simply waiting to see what Christensen’s latest comical way of lasting 59 minutes is, and screwing us all over in the process. Big Sam’s lumbering Everton host a newly invigorated Leicester, Newcastle and Burnley will probably play out an inevitable stalemate, Saints and Brighton have a derby (as such, just the small matter of 66 miles separating them!) and Spurs vs Man United could potentially be the game of the round. It could also very well be 0-0! And finally Watford’s fancy new Spanish manager Javi Gracia will no doubt fulfil a life long ambition of seeing whether he can indeed cut it on a cold Wednesday night in Stoke.

Arsenal supporters relieved that Ozil has signed a new contract. Smart for him because, despite what a good player he is, it wasn’t clear that any other team wanted him
Would have walked on to man u.
Still might in the summer
Question – for you folks in the UK, does anybody skip work and stay home on deadline day? Seems like as good an excuse as any! There were a few years there where they’d broadcast Skysports all deadline day here in the States and loved it. Tough just following on twitter, etc.
Slimani is apparently in Newcastle for his medical.
Whilst i’m not super excited by this, he’s got to be better than Joselu!
Trust me, he’s good. I’ve seen it with my own eyes. Give him sucessive starts and he delivers on a regular basis.
The “circle” has now been completed!
B. DORTMUND -> ARSENAL -> CHELSEA -> B.DORTMUND.
PEA to ARS
MICHI.B to DORTMUND
GIROUD to CHELSEA (20mil £)
Done deal :
WC activation mostly this week… Any suggestions!?
My options are hazard in, Kane out, Chelsea defender, city defender out… Not sure about Kun…:p
What would you do with this team which isn’t doing anything good… Any WC suggestions is welcome..
Wait is this your WC draft or do you want to play your WC? I wouldn’t be changing much on that except for that bench but that can be done over a few weeks rather than using your WC.
This is my normal team right now.. Thinking of wildcard.. Just not getting the output which I was thinking of…:p
Yeah I agree with my main man here, def no need for a WC! Save it for the DGWs!
Lads. I know 2nd teams are generally looked down on here and I’m the same but with the new players coming in. I’m considering setting up a team full of new signings (as much as possible anyway). Just to see how these players do and it might help for next seasons first draft.
What do you guys think or is that just a waste of time?
I spent longer then I’d like on 1 team lol
If it’s something you want to do go for it though
Players hitting good form is something well notice anyway I think
I feel bad for mentioning my second team to you now!
It’s your fault! Haha
The team I came up with off the top of my head was actually pretty decent. If all the moves go through. Made me realise there are some potentially nice differentials out there now. Mostly in midfield unfortunately.
We all like a good differential! Should makes the last part of the season more interesting!
I definitely do! Is the Lucas Moura deal going through he would make Spurs cover even more interesting
I think that may be the reason why we don’t have +5M players as FPL likes to advertise. We have probably 1M managers (2 maybe) and the rest are second, third, fourth teams that people create for no good reason such as the one you mention and that then impacts on price changes for us all honest and genuine managers. 1 man, 1 team. I’ll open a polite exception for the doubles teams. Rant over.
With you HL, one team is enough for me.
HL?
