Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 25

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 25. Lovely jubbly, another midweek game-week. There’s always something special about these. Whether it’s games under the lights or just that it breaks up the mundane working week we don’t know but either way they always feel special.

We begin with 3 games on Tuesday with Swansea unashamedly prepping London busses for Arsenal, Moyes spitting feathers in an attempt to find 11 available players to face Palace and Huddersfield fearing the worst against Klopp’s juggernaut.

And then we have a bumper Wednesday with 7 games, all done and dusted within a short few hours. Maybe it’s that finality that is so attractive, but then that may depend on on how it pans out for you. Either way, enjoy!

Wednesday itself sees Chelsea host Bournemouth with many simply waiting to see what Christensen’s latest comical way of lasting 59 minutes is, and screwing us all over in the process. Big Sam’s lumbering Everton host a newly invigorated Leicester, Newcastle and Burnley will probably play out an inevitable stalemate, Saints and Brighton have a derby (as such, just the small matter of 66 miles separating them!) and Spurs vs Man United could potentially be the game of the round. It could also very well be 0-0! And finally Watford’s fancy new Spanish manager Javi Gracia will no doubt fulfil a life long ambition of seeing whether he can indeed cut it on a cold Wednesday night in Stoke.

  1. Breaking News :

“Manchester City have made a final cash-plus-player offer for Riyad Mahrez worth an estimated £65m, according to Sky sources.

The identity of the Manchester City player is not yet known, but Leicester City are understood to be considering the offer – which is Man City’s fourth bid for the winger.”

    • I’d love to know who the player is! Right now I’m thinking Zinchenko, Yaya or possibly Stones

      • He won’t let Stones go Matt, he’s just spent a year improving him. Not that you can always tell smile

He won’t let Zinchenko go as he’s a brilliant prospect.

I have a feeling it is Kun and that’ll be why he’s withdrawn from tonight’s squad.

        • Only improvement to Stones is goal threat from what I can see. Haha as for Zinchenko I’ve never actually seen him play so I don’t know anything about him.

If it’s Kun that would be an amazing transfer. Has he actually withdrew tonight? That would be great for me haha

        • nice try

        • laugh

One of my favourite pastimes when I’m bored – telling Gullible Matt outlandish tales to see what he’ll believe. Don’t think we’ll ever beat the light and weather sensitive interchangeable Live Match Chat headline pictures one though :hippo:

        • I refuse to believe that Matt thought City had offered Kun to Leicester smile

        • Hmmm, well, we do know the form on this Kop!

I only ended up telling him the truth about the picture one as I feared we were going to get done for child cruelty or something smile

Was practically the highlight of last year in our ‘office’!

“Look Matt it’s raining, they’ve changed again”

          “That’s so awesome”

          laugh

        • Poor Matt! smile

        • Hahah I knew they weren’t selling Kun and if they did Pep would need his head checked. I was just playing along with Init because I know he takes enjoyment out of it. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t hopefully Kun didn’t play tonight though haha

    • I’ll be surprised if Mahrez doesn’t end up at City

      • Sky are now saying that City have walked away from any possible deal for Mahrez.

        • Leicester probably asked for a better player and City said no.

      • Surprised for 37 minutes you meant Kop 😉

  2. Given PEA (Aubameyang) has joined Gunners. What do you guys reckon his price would be in FPL? I think he might be 10.5 mil.

    • I’d say in around that. I see a lot of kun to him in a few weeks. Could be a big game changer

      • Well given he is playing for arsenal, you never know. He might get injured and sit out couple of months. But if he stays fit, his and mikhi rejuvenation might lend arsenal a champions league spot. Good old Dortmund peers.

  3. Confirmed

    • Do we think he goes straight in next gw to replace Son? Don’t know much about him.

      • Doubt it. He’s played about 20 minutes this season.

      • I’m not sure Colriles. I think I’m right in saying that he’s played very little football for PSG this season.

      • Nah he will need a few weeks to build up fitness plus the way Son has been playing doubt he comes out the side so easily

      • Cheers fellas.

  4. Chelsea v Bournemouth

  5. Everton v Leicester

  6. Everton- coleman anyone?
