Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 26

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 26. No double games to contend with this week, just a straight forward set of 10. The last lot before we get rudely interrupted by the FA Cup again, but pay attention this time as what occurs in that may well impact hugely on what occurs in FPL later on with blank and double game-week ramifications all over the shop.

Saturday begins with two teams enjoying contrasting fortunes since they recently changed their managers as Fulham host Man United.

Saturday afternoon’s highlight, from a purely footballing perspective, will be watching Liverpool try not to choke completely against Bournemouth. Fail this test and we may as well just hand the title to City at 5pm. Elsewhere Palace and West Ham contest a derby, Huddersfield will continue their descent to the Championship against Arsenal, Saints and Cardiff have an almost literal six pointer and Watford will go all out to hang ex-boss Silva out to dry.

The final game of the day is Brighton vs Burnley, we guess there is some mild relegation interest at stake but beyond that we are struggling to either see the attraction or indeed why this is on TV. Even Brighton and Burnley fans will be hard pressed to avert their gaze if they have spent the afternoon painting walls…

Sunday should hold more interest though, Spurs Lite and Leicester kick us off nicely at 1.30pm before the main attraction at 4pm as Sarri takes his Chelsea balls to Man City for a lesson in motivation.

We continue into Monday this week as Wolves look to continue where they left off against Everton as Newcastle come to town, perhaps with a shiny new signing on show in the shape of Almiron.

The games in full…

What’s everyones plan now for the BGW? Any wildcarders or free hitters out there?

I’m thinking that I’ll just bench sané, there arent really any good options to transfer in this week, or is there? Seems like there’s only bad fixtures or no fixture at all…

Same plan as before, Allan – bench the 2 Everton players, and try to hold the FT so I can react to updates on when matches will be rearranged depending on the FA Cup results and draw.

morning Allan. not using any chips but will be utilising 2 transfers, taking a hit to bring in aubameyang. it should be a good gamble for at least 3 GW i’d personally think.

Felipe Anderson could haul and despite having City next he then has NEW, cardiff, HUD and EVE in the next 3. So that’s 4 in 6 at home, 3 of which to bottom oposition. I know he might not be there for all those with the blanks and doubles and respective chip strategy but for those of us without a decent XI for bgw27 he is a good option. In your case and I’d probably save yes.

      • AllanBrallan says:

I was actually about Anderson. He got really good games comming up, it’s just that his points have been really poor lately…

        • DMC says:

They have, but if you have a relook he has had Liverpool and Arsenal at home

        • DMC says:

I messed that comment. I wanted to say something like he’s difficult to read in terms of home/away. His returns are poor recently but if he is to gain any form / fpl points you’d think it’s now. From 33 onwards fixtures are bad.

This is my current set up. 2 ft, 1.6itb so have options.

Will try my best to hold off a day before the next games (taking into account 2 legs of europa league, champions league, FA cup impacting blanks/doubles).

    Morning

How did everyone get on yesterday? Currently on 38 with Luiz, Son, sane, kun and Jimenez to go plus Bennett to come in for Rashford if he plays.

I would have been 4 points behind my rival if kola never scored that OG.

For GW27, what should I do with this lot? Will do Kun to PEA, is it worth keeping sane or moving him on?

Good morning everyone. Hope you have a great Sunday.

Looking forward to the games today.

I can get away with no transfers next gameweek and still put an XI. Looks a bit different though.

(I won’t do this, I’m doing Richarlison to Almiron subject to tomorrow’s viewing and any other issues).

Hmm preparing lessons for tomorrow. Plural spelling in Dutch. Interesting, not. I think plural in Dutch is harder than in English though. Hmm.

      Raz,
Since only the actual Dutch learn the language ( why on earth would anyone else?) most of us on here wouldn’t know how difficult (or easy) it is to form the plurals. smile

      • Raziel says:

Actually, came across an American the other week that was learning the language for two years. He came to Holland on his vacation to check how far he was. So what you say is inaccurate.

Also, learning other languages actually helps you understand English better since over 70 percent of your language consists out of stolen vocubalary from other languages. Mostly German and French, I think.

        • Leprechaun says:

Haha – did I touch a nerve Raz?
Actually I agree about the benefit of learning other languages. I speak French, some German, and am learning Spanish. Not sure about the percentage but English is certainly made up of a lot of words from other languages.

Two Raziels is definitely tougher than one Raziel.

Anyone understand why people are still picking up Kun, even though he has no game next gw? Haha. He’s up 0.4 percent per hour. That’s crazy. Hopefully he goes up one more time. smile
