Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 26

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 26. No double games to contend with this week, just a straight forward set of 10. The last lot before we get rudely interrupted by the FA Cup again, but pay attention this time as what occurs in that may well impact hugely on what occurs in FPL later on with blank and double game-week ramifications all over the shop.

Saturday begins with two teams enjoying contrasting fortunes since they recently changed their managers as Fulham host Man United.

Saturday afternoon’s highlight, from a purely footballing perspective, will be watching Liverpool try not to choke completely against Bournemouth. Fail this test and we may as well just hand the title to City at 5pm. Elsewhere Palace and West Ham contest a derby, Huddersfield will continue their descent to the Championship against Arsenal, Saints and Cardiff have an almost literal six pointer and Watford will go all out to hang ex-boss Silva out to dry.

The final game of the day is Brighton vs Burnley, we guess there is some mild relegation interest at stake but beyond that we are struggling to either see the attraction or indeed why this is on TV. Even Brighton and Burnley fans will be hard pressed to avert their gaze if they have spent the afternoon painting walls…

Sunday should hold more interest though, Spurs Lite and Leicester kick us off nicely at 1.30pm before the main attraction at 4pm as Sarri takes his Chelsea balls to Man City for a lesson in motivation.

We continue into Monday this week as Wolves look to continue where they left off against Everton as Newcastle come to town, perhaps with a shiny new signing on show in the shape of Almiron.

The games in full…

  1. Well i said last night i wasn’t convinced about Auba. So Rosco gets no blame from me. laugh

  2. Good thing I got Pog this morning, felt like a crazy move since it was for a double hit. Took out Lossl, Richarlison, Sane for Boruc, Pogba and Mane. I can now say I’m happy with the move even if it was for minus 8. I did the move eying the future but it worked out short term. smile Unless Richi now scores a hatty. :p

    • Lossl benched aswell so even better !

    • Can’t see it, he’ll be so pumped up I can only predict bad fouls and crazy shots at goal..

  3. Morning all. Missed the Lindelöf news, so have him and Rashford with zeros to start my game week. Hoping Wan B and Højbjerg both play.
Anyone know why Lindelöf missed out?

  4. People with Auba(C) and Pogba (VC) will be quite happy. But not sure if anyone has that.

  5. Wow. No Auba either?! Keeping faith with Kun might pay off. That Arsenal bench is shocking. What a mess Wenger left us.

    • Has Ozil completely disappeared and become a real ghost now?
      And what about Ramsey?

      • Ramsey has signed with Juventus I think. Guess he’ll be used if we get desperate.
Ozil clearly out of favor. If someone will pay his wages he’ll be gone end of the season too. I think I’d be playing both right now though. Better than Iwobi.

        • Ramsey will play vs Bate, I hope. If Ozil does not play there, then I see he is getting sold in Summer or, Emery will leave in Summer. In any case, top 4 does looks tight.
EL avenue to return to CL also looks tight with CHE, Napoli, Inter, Sevilla etc. are there.
Lets hope for a win today.

    • Now LA Rams lost…if Kroenke becomes a bit kind to sanction 100ml…it seems summer budget is 45m. Ramsey going out free…if Ozil is sold, some money might come, but he wants to stay….camp is total mess.

      • Kroenke isn’t getting his wallet out. He’ll be hoping we finish outside of the top four so we get a higher draft pick…

      • Aubameyang – illness
        Ozil – illness
        Ramsey – slight knee problem
        Xhaka – left groin
Looks like Ozil will not get a game under Emery.

        • Xhaka and Torreira are Arsenal’s highest scoring mids, says it all really.

        • Torreira is a great little player. Better as a ball winner rather than a fantasy asset. Xhaka is shite both in fantasy and real life. Wish we’d sell him.

  6. glad I followed some advice on here this morning and didn’t swap out Aguero for Auba
