Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 26

The big one is here. And as DGW’s go this one is rather large with no less than 17 games spanning 6 days, starting on Saturday and finishing up at about 10pm on Thursday. That’s about 1,530 minutes worth of football, or 25.5 hours, and every last drop of it is televised.

A small word of caution here, other than the obvious which is to have a good divorce lawyer to hand, after we finish on Thursday you get just the one day off as GW27 begins on Saturday again with an 11am deadline.

We won’t script out all 17 games here, the picture below tells a thousand words, other than to say that there are 4 games on Saturday, 5 on Sunday, 1 each on Monday and Tuesday and 3 each on Wednesday and Thursday. Enjoy!

    • Unless you get anything concrete I think you need to get rid, manager is playing it down every week to try and trick opposition into believing he would play is my guess

    • I’d prob downgrade Azpil to Rudiger and invest cash elsewhere

    • This may be an unpopular decision, but I’d consider a punt on PEA over Bruno, then bring back Bruno in gw30

      • Yeah must admit I’m hating it. Down 10-20 points on most people it feels like. Three left for me and I really could do with a West Brom goal and a Son blank or it will get worse

        • I’m also 10/20 points down on the rest in the league I’m in one of Gameweeks I guess

        • After a run of ten(ish) weeks with this you get used to it, shrug it off and plan for the next week – on the plus side I find it becomes easier for yourself to justify your fun punts under the excuse of ‘catching up’ :wink2: smile

  4. Cant figure out what to do here. There are no replacement for grealish is there? Just wait to see if he is fit soon or atleast to have 2 ft’s and bring in a defender or forward instead? But the problem remains, who’s worth having now?

    • Wait for news (but don’t expect any…) then see if one of these would work for you;
      – Soucek/Lingard (bgw asset)
      – Raphi (bgw asset)
      – Siggy (if dgw for the blues)
      – Jota (if back from illness)
      – Lookman (budget, dgw asset)
      – JWP (dgw27 punt)
      – Saka (bgw asset)

      I could go on smile

      • I’ve looked at all of those… Dont like any of them right now. Mainly the fixtures that bothers me or weak form…

        But i guess i’ll have to pick one….

        • I mean, you could just start Lewis then if you have no 2nd FT to burn.

    • Grealish to Raphinha and Brewster to Antonio. Sets you up for GW29 and can play Antonio this week.
