Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 26

The big one is here. And as DGW’s go this one is rather large with no less than 17 games spanning 6 days, starting on Saturday and finishing up at about 10pm on Thursday. That’s about 1,530 minutes worth of football, or 25.5 hours, and every last drop of it is televised.

A small word of caution here, other than the obvious which is to have a good divorce lawyer to hand, after we finish on Thursday you get just the one day off as GW27 begins on Saturday again with an 11am deadline.

We won’t script out all 17 games here, the picture below tells a thousand words, other than to say that there are 4 games on Saturday, 5 on Sunday, 1 each on Monday and Tuesday and 3 each on Wednesday and Thursday. Enjoy!

  1. Glad that’s over. Looks like 3 BP for Martinez at the moment.

    • Is he Injured?, Wasn’t taking goal kicks last half hour

      • I don’t know. I was following on my phones sports app so I wasn’t watching. That’s interesting.

      • Apparently on pain killers for the 2nd part of the match. A valiant effort. Matt Targett was giving me cold shivers though – was my only trade this week and was so close to a 2nd yellow on at least 2 occasions. Thankyou Matt, my hair is now completely grey! smile

    • Martinez is on 2 at the moment.

    Was hoping this week would help me close the 98 point gap to my ML leader (I’m currently 2nd, he’s in the top 15k), unfortunately doesn’t look like I’ll catch him. I have Kane captained but he has him as his TC :hippo:

    • Join the club of bad BBs.

    • Someone here talked me out of using my BB and I’m thankful for that.

    • I wouldn’t be in the slightest bit worried about that. My SGW players have delivered <10 points as far as I can see. But I see them (with a bit of imagination) as DGW players as they'll be in action in 29.

      In addition the Leeds lot performed heroics right at the end of the last GW so blimey, give them a break. Maybe if they all cost 10 million odd.

      • Yeah I agree. They are difficult to predict their results it was probably the right call. They are a mid table side too and have been well over performing their price tags

    • I debated Johnson over him. Johnson got a point more but seemed to have been lucky, who gets 2 pens missed against you

    • 46 pts – 8/28…would be happy with whatever good score I can get. Caved and captained Kane. Could not face hiding behind the couch for so long.

        I was on Kane right up until the deadline, but as an Arsenal fan, and considering their recent form, I ducked out and went for DCL differential which my ML leader also did, so I’ll be happy either way!

    • 28 (-8) after bonus from 6/25 (counted captain as 6 as TC ) -9*2 + 2*3 (C) + 1*1

        I had double villa defence and Stones/Dias with Watkins too, so its 35 and 41 when bonus is added!
