Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 26. And we are back already! We hope the midweek games treated you kindly but if not, don’t worry, we are straight into another GW so it can all be forgotten. And then probably all repeated again, just in case you forgot already!

We begin with Burnley hoping that their bus is big enough to contain Man City’s juggernaut. It won’t be.

We then have five 3pm games and all are much a muchness in terms of calling a winner with perhaps the exception of Man Utd hosting Huddersfield but try calling the others and you’ll be lucky to get 1 right.

Saturday evening will surely see Theo stick one up Arsene as the Gunners pay tribute to one of their most prolific players of recent times in terms of goals and assists but whom of Wenger decided it was better to play the likes of Iwobi and Xhaka instead of. More fool him, as per usual these days.

And then onto Super Sunday…. Crystal Palace vs Newcastle. Hmmmm. Ok. The less said the better!

It should all liven up a bit later on though as Liverpool play host to Spurs.

Our game-week then concludes on Monday with Watford at home to Chelsea. Watford are on a horrible run of form and Chelsea have just been spanked at home by… Bournemouth. As you do. Second guess this one at your peril.

  1. Did anyone get over 20 points? What a shocking GW

    • The guy/gal 3rd overall in the rankings had a pretty good week. 34 with 10 sitting on the bench if needed.
      With Shaqiri, Smalling and Berg Gudmundsson how the hell are they in 3rd overall?!!

    • SAF I am on 27 from 7.
      Salah/Ox/Mariappa/Kane(c) left to play

      • It doesn’t seem right to congratulate someone for 27 points but well done. I have 11

    • SAF, I’m on 31 with 7 played, although I’ve already played my captain.

    • Everything was looking great as that ball arrived at Sterlings feet in the 75th minute.

      Am now on 8 from 4, with a lot riding on Hazard as my differential captain

      I dont know why i bother putting any thought into this game at all.I need a new hobby !

      • Likewise Brooky. This past few weeks I’ve had Christensen play 57 mins twice. Brought in Mahrez so he could not play at all. Triple capped Kane’s 3point DGW. And this week have Jones and Pickford on 0. Why bother?

        • Because there’s always the next game…

        • +10 DMC. Folk always react the same when it’s low scoring but forget that it’s low scoring collectively.

          Likewise they rejoice when it’s high scoring. Difference is that when it’s low it’s less likely to make any difference. When it’s high it can split a bit and that’s when you see 20 odd point differences.

    • I’m on 26 (-4) with 3 left to play so at least I’m above average

    • 28 from 8 with Salah (C), kane and gomez left to play. If i can get to 50, that will be on average for me this week.

    • you think wilshere will play the europa games and ramsey in the pl?

    • I think both Wilshire and Ramsey should start – perhaps not for Arsenal though.

  4. 35 with Salah and Kane to go. Really disappointing week with Mkhi saving it in some way.

    • So in other words you’ve had a very good week and made an amazing signing?! Either that or we know whether your glass is always half full or half empty laugh

      • Disappointed because I have only two left. And no Chelsea. So will definitely fall in rankings by end of GW.

  5. You think that’s disappointing then listen up. 8 points from 5 players but I did a -4 to bring Pogba in so it’s technically 4 points. Close to tears last night lol.

  6. 10 points for me with Robertson, Salah (c) Son, Firmino and Alonso to go.
