Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 26
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 26. And we are back already! We hope the midweek games treated you kindly but if not, don’t worry, we are straight into another GW so it can all be forgotten. And then probably all repeated again, just in case you forgot already!
We begin with Burnley hoping that their bus is big enough to contain Man City’s juggernaut. It won’t be.
We then have five 3pm games and all are much a muchness in terms of calling a winner with perhaps the exception of Man Utd hosting Huddersfield but try calling the others and you’ll be lucky to get 1 right.
Saturday evening will surely see Theo stick one up Arsene as the Gunners pay tribute to one of their most prolific players of recent times in terms of goals and assists but whom of Wenger decided it was better to play the likes of Iwobi and Xhaka instead of. More fool him, as per usual these days.
And then onto Super Sunday…. Crystal Palace vs Newcastle. Hmmmm. Ok. The less said the better!
It should all liven up a bit later on though as Liverpool play host to Spurs.
Our game-week then concludes on Monday with Watford at home to Chelsea. Watford are on a horrible run of form and Chelsea have just been spanked at home by… Bournemouth. As you do. Second guess this one at your peril.

Chaos out there… 3 Awful refereeing decisions in a row, First of all Kane was offside for the first penalty claim, then Kane 100% instigates contact with Karius after kicking the ball away and just runs into him. Karius barely touched him. Next the Salah hand ball isn’t given – we should have had a pen – but only because Salah is simply one of the world’s best, we get the goal we deserved. Next the linesman gives a penalty for Spurs from the far side of the pitch where he had a blocked view with 2 players in the way from the far away at the side of the pitch. VVD pulls his leg away from lamela who again is not going for the ball, and somehow the man on the side of the field overrules the ref who had a better view, and the pen is given.
Nonsense, and only one thing is clear. While I’m not a fan of te time delays, to remove moments like this we need VAR.
just needed to vent my anger clearly haha
Love the rant Bob.
Unfortunately I don’t think it’s that clear.
I fancy both are penalties and whilst i agree the offside law is an ass, it had been applied correctly inn this instance. Weirdly, if Lovren doesn’t try to play the ball, then Kane is offside. But which defender is going to have the brass balls to leave not intercepting it hoping not to invoke that second phase rule?
Fair do’s GP. They’re probably not as stonewall as I though in the heat of the moment hahaha!
Mad about that offside rule though. To be honest I didn’t even know that existed!
What did son play like didn’t see the game.
Thinking son to Micky
I’m going to keep him for the Arsenal game as he plays best at home and Arsenal’s defence is not watertight!
He’s a bloody brilliant player shane. Probably one of the most underrated in the league.
And luckily he’s decent fantasywise as well.
I’d keep.
Cheers chaps
Saw the first half and he was getting in the box lot of times. Keep.
Would you rather get 0.1m by:
— mundanely selling Gomes (injured) for a 4.4m goalkeeper or
— bandwagonishly selling Son for Mkhitaryan?
Adrian’s my other goalkeeper.
Goalkeeper.
My Watford supporting pal who I was with last night says their Greek keeper is getting rave reviews on the Hornets messageboards. You might find Gomes doesn’t walk right back in.
I doubt I’d want Gomes to walk back into my FPL team either…
Thank you, GP, that was my initial thought. I’ve not owned an Arsenal player all season.
With the next Arsenal 2 fixtures, I’d say the first
They’re grim, Dreamers, but pretty juicy after that! Cheers.
Early transfer thoughts? Thinking Masauku to a cheap replacement. 0.8 ITB, 1 FT
Ayew of Swansea for DCL would tempt me.
Masuaku would be my move also.

Thanks lads
Evening all,
Managed to salvage 44pts from this week somehow. Shame I dont follow the advice I seem to give out which is always captain salah!
Thinking of swapping from 3-5-2 back to 3-4-3 so Going forward would you prefer a combo of
A. Lingard & kun in a 3-5-2 with ayew in reserve
B. Kun & Vardy in 3-4-3 with milivojevic in reserve
C. Aubamayang and firminio in 3-4-3 with milivojevic in reserve
D. Aubamayang and Vardy in 3-4-3 with milivojevic in reserve using the extra to improve a pretty cheap defence.
I already have mhiki and salah so the will be a bit of doubling up in option c
Any thoughts?
Cheers
B on immediate reaction.
Yeah that was what in was thinking. Easy to swap kun to Auba at a later date when Jesus is back (probably early April) and he becomes a rotation risk
Yep.
9 played and over half of my points are from one player. Not my finest week
