Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 27
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 27. This is the first of the so called ‘blank weeks’ when a few teams miss out on fixtures. This particular one is because Man City and Chelsea face off in the Milk Cup Final and subsequently both Everton and Brighton get to sit it out too. If this comes as a surprise to you (Hi Raz!) then don’t say we didn’t mention it once or twice in our articles this week. Right after giving yourself a good old slap in the face.
What it does mean is that we have just eight games this week, and rather unusually we begin with two on Friday night. In fact, we think this is the first time this has ever happened. Cardiff face Watford and Fulham play West Ham, so let’s just hope it wasn’t some sort of deliberate marketing tool to draw in viewing numbers…
Burnley and Spurs get us going in the early one on Saturday prior to a paltry two games in the traditional 3pm slot as Bournemouth host Wolves (fantasy relevant) and Newcastle host Huddersfield (not!). Leicester and Palace play in the late one.
Sunday does look a bit more enticing as Arsenal play Southampton mid afternoon before the tie of the weekend sees the GW out on Sunday with Liverpool going to Man Utd to try and make the most of their game in hand. No idea who Man Utd fans actually prefer to win this one!
The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Raziel
For some odd reason I have a strong feeling Issa Diop will score a header tonight.
Frenchie
You called it!
MadHatter
I shoulda gone Deulofeu as cappo.
At least I have him I suppose.
Need West Ham to wake up!
Raziel
They’ve been sleeping for a few decades. Only one that rescue them now is the messiah Diop.
Raziel
Jesus, almost. Ogbonna assist.
MadHatter
Ha ha Diop scores!
MadHatter
With a header!
HL****** [Dr. Hannibal Lecter]
Diop is 1st on my bench…
On the minus side, I went with Arnie…
Now I need him to sit tight on that bench for the full 90mins…(and the chances are slim)…
Pancho
Sorry HL…
HL****** [Dr. Hannibal Lecter]
Arnie assist !!
I ll take that !!
Elleffcee
Chicharito, spoke about him on site during the week.
Raziel
Chicharito spoke about himself on the site?
Raziel
Sorry Elle, I missed the comma.
Frenchie
But it was a handball, wasn’t it?
Raziel
The hand of Chiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii……………
Pancho
There you go Raz!
Raziel
Am I a genius or what? Hahaha. He hasn’t scored one goal for WHU yet or get an assist. I’m the miracle worker. 😛
Raziel
I actually needed that tonight. I had one of the worst days in ages. Think I actually aged a few years. so blowing off some steam helps.
Silvers
This is the worst cap pick this season Anderson what was I thinking
MadHatter
Me too Silvers. Live and never learn!
beno1234
Picked Schär instead of Diop… sums up my season.
Pancho
Beno I’ve had Diop since GW 18 and he’s only had 1 CS (on my bench) and scored a total of 3 points out of the 3 matches I’ve played him. I finally played him this week.
beno1234
Congrats dude. Rewarded for your faith!
Cookie
Anderson (c) – looking like a great move. Just to think i ignored Son for him. Well played Cookie….diary rant at myself forthcoming….
beno1234
45 mins to go yet Cookie!
Frenchie
Be patient. He could score a brace in second half against that awful defense. Although I really hope not!
Cookie
I’m not confident – apparently West Ham have been awful and Anderson peripheral. Oh well.
Horse
May still come off Cookie. I went with Pogba myself
Cookie
Wish I had, Horse. How’s the trip going?
Horse
Flew back into the UK today. Great trip. Need to find some work now
Smash
Ah wow what was the highlights horse. Sounded like an amazing trip
Horse
Quite a lot of highlights. White water rafting the Zambezi, seeing loads of wildlife including seeing a cheetah kill, walking with lions. Meeting the amazing people of Africa. The beautiful landscapes and sun sets.
Kralin
I misread that at first as ‘dirty rant at myself’ and thought, that sounds interesting.
Bad luck re Anderson.
