Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 27
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 27. This is the first of the so called ‘blank weeks’ when a few teams miss out on fixtures. This particular one is because Man City and Chelsea face off in the Milk Cup Final and subsequently both Everton and Brighton get to sit it out too. If this comes as a surprise to you (Hi Raz!) then don’t say we didn’t mention it once or twice in our articles this week. Right after giving yourself a good old slap in the face.
What it does mean is that we have just eight games this week, and rather unusually we begin with two on Friday night. In fact, we think this is the first time this has ever happened. Cardiff face Watford and Fulham play West Ham, so let’s just hope it wasn’t some sort of deliberate marketing tool to draw in viewing numbers…
Burnley and Spurs get us going in the early one on Saturday prior to a paltry two games in the traditional 3pm slot as Bournemouth host Wolves (fantasy relevant) and Newcastle host Huddersfield (not!). Leicester and Palace play in the late one.
Sunday does look a bit more enticing as Arsenal play Southampton mid afternoon before the tie of the weekend sees the GW out on Sunday with Liverpool going to Man Utd to try and make the most of their game in hand. No idea who Man Utd fans actually prefer to win this one!

He’s been threatening this for ages. Sadly, for so many ages that it made better sense to bring in the likes of Pogba, Son and Jota instead… But if you see the goals, he makes it look almost like he scores 2 or 3 every week.
Anyone out there knows how to turn bad luck into good luck? I am ready to give myself to science! Anything I do goes wrong, first time I bench Deulofeu (had him since December) and he scores a hatty… I am literally going insane… Also didn’t have Aguero, had Sane, and so on and so forth…. Aaaaaaaaarghhhhhh I hate FPL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zed, if it’s any consolation I had him down as my Hazard replacement / Arsenal fwd enabler all week. And then switched tact just today when it became evident I needed a defender as a result of Wan-B wandering off. It meant more funds were suddenly available for that slot and I naturally got greedy and spent them on someone else. Jota: who will now almost inevitably be benched.
Feel like I’m stuck in some sort of FPL version of SE7EN this season! I’d warn my wife about the ending but I don’t want to worry her unnecessarily…….

Looked at Antonio as he had better recent returns than Anderson but wasn’t sure how nailed he was with Lanzini coming back.Bugger.
I brought him in on my draft league this week for shits and giggles ! But then my draft team / league is shit and I don’t really care about it one iota!
