Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 27

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 27. This is the first of the so called ‘blank weeks’ when a few teams miss out on fixtures. This particular one is because Man City and Chelsea face off in the Milk Cup Final and subsequently both Everton and Brighton get to sit it out too. If this comes as a surprise to you (Hi Raz!) then don’t say we didn’t mention it once or twice in our articles this week. Right after giving yourself a good old slap in the face.

What it does mean is that we have just eight games this week, and rather unusually we begin with two on Friday night. In fact, we think this is the first time this has ever happened. Cardiff face Watford and Fulham play West Ham, so let’s just hope it wasn’t some sort of deliberate marketing tool to draw in viewing numbers…

Burnley and Spurs get us going in the early one on Saturday prior to a paltry two games in the traditional 3pm slot as Bournemouth host Wolves (fantasy relevant) and Newcastle host Huddersfield (not!). Leicester and Palace play in the late one.

Sunday does look a bit more enticing as Arsenal play Southampton mid afternoon before the tie of the weekend sees the GW out on Sunday with Liverpool going to Man Utd to try and make the most of their game in hand. No idea who Man Utd fans actually prefer to win this one!

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 27 from all at FF247!

  1. Usual 3 points from Fabianski. That’s 4 on the trot.

    • Am thinking about him as my GW31 keeper, if I can manage it without a hit.

You eloquently express why taking a hit for him is not wise.

  2. Man….Nothing from Camarasa. Not sure why he wasn’t even on the bench. And I no one on my bench to cover. A very last minute decision to trade ObiWan to Bamba paid off though.

    • Hmm, I had Cama in there too, and was actually sweating on him not being named for even a last minute cameo from the depths of the sheds, as I had ….(drum roll smile ) Deulofeu as my first reserve ! It’s finally (and very shakily) paid off! Sorry about that – it’s probably the only satisfaction I’ll get all weekend! Bye for now and I hope it gets better for you!

  4. If anyone’s bored tonight / tomorrow….

A quick sense check on this would be massively appreciated before we save and start publishing.

    • Hi init,

Arsenal and Chelsea Europa league ties to be updated.

    • Looks like city got Cardiff 32 and 33…

      • That’s me jumping the gun on pulling that one forward to 32 which is what will happen if City beat Swansea. Good spot, needs to be consistent and probably now note the potential 31 ones at risk.

    • I may have misread but I think you have Car playing 3 games in GW32. Perhaps scrub BRI Car and replace with Che?

      • They’re going to be busy that week if I have my way smile

Cheers for that, that whole column needs looking at again I think. As most of it is conjecture anyway!

  5. Looks ok to me init, nice work, cheers

  6. Anyone here who lives/is in Manchester? Any chance you could go and kidnap Rashford (Pogba would work as well) and release him on Monday… You could say ZL forced you to do it if the police gets involved! 😆
