Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 27.
After what was the longest ever FPL game-week on record we return to normality this week with a relatively brisk three ‘dayer’.

Chelsea and Spurs kick us off on Saturday lunchtime as Jose once again returns to Stamford Bridge, but this time it’s war, according to his hair anyway.

We have four 3pm games as Burnley welcome Bournemouth, Palace and Newcastle provide a welcome gimme 0-0 for our gamblers, The Lord will look to further troll Gavy and co against Brighton and Grealish takes Villa to the seaside as part of their FPL farewell tour.

A 2nd vs 3rd clash sees us out on Saturday to see who will become which by the end of the season.

We have three games on Sunday with Man Utd & Watford and Wolves & Norwich both kicking off at 2pm before The Arteta Derby at 4.30pm

Monday sees Liverpool destroy West Ham.

The games in full…

  1. Any early ideas on where to go here? Got 2 FT and 4.6m.

Just trying to get some ideas going.

    Thanks for any input.

    • Hanley to Doherty ?

Traore to Richarlison? Or Pepe?Barkley punt? Barnes?

    • Actually quite tricky. I think I would try and save 1FT, just in case there is a DGW29. May be move out Lundstram as he has lost his place and this will also allow you to bench Dendo.

    • I’d splurge the dosh on a Wolves or Leicester defender; may be time to move Lunders on.

  2. Vardy. Stick or twist?

  3. Do you think Traore has lost his place to Jota?
Or will he be back to face Spurs?

    • Can’t really drop Jota with 5 in 2 but Traore can come back in for Dendoncker with a change of formation back to 3 up top.

      • I guess my real question is, if you had Traore, would you transfer him out?

        • Probably not unless you had no other priorities to sort.

        • Thanks initt, it would mean taking a -8 hit for me, which I don’t really want to do.

        • He stays then in that case.

        • No I would not and actually he makes the ‘who do I bench?’ question I have for next GW easier to answer.

    • Jota hasn’t taken his place, they both play in a 3 4 3. Not sure if his benching is because of his shoulder injury or genuinely for change of formation. But I guess he will play against spurs and can do well

  4. Guys any ideas here, I was thinking maybe Hanley to saiss before he goes up, and carrying the other transfer. Any other suggestions would be great. Thanks guys.

    • That doesn’t strike me as a priority transfer this week given as you already have 3 defenders with perfectly good fixtures, KDB and Auba defo out, Dendocker always a risk and Perez as a bit of an unknown.

      • For some reason I can’t see Newcastle players as having good fixtures – even when they have good fixtures.

        • I suppose it’s all relative, albeit it relative to having no fixture!

        • That is indeed true. I think I’m sending out a rare 5/2/3 formation next week, which should be fun. All planned months in advance, of course.

      • I may want those players back after 28 though, which may not be that easy. Hanley isn’t exactly raking the points either. Who would u suggest for kdb and PEA.

        • Vardy or DCL; Richarlison. Keep an ear open for news of the possible DGW in 29 before throwing KdB over.

    • Yes that’s fine. There’s a cheap Burnley defender knocking around but Wolves seem in a good place at the moment.

  5. Martial or Bruno F – who is better in FPL?

  6. Are we sticking with Aguero?

    • TC next week. No-brainer.

      • Is the DGW confirmed?

        • I’m talking GW28. I’m not being serious.

Because of structural concerns I miraculously avoided signing Kun a couple of weeks ago.

      • Already used on Mane. Aguero might still get a better score in a blank week.

        • I think it was yourself, constantine, who was deep in The Slough of Despond yesterday. I hope today has been kinder.

    • I had 2ft’s, so i binned Aguero and Guendouzi, total 1pt and both blank GW28 for Bruno and Ings, total 16pts, so i’m quite happy at the moment without him 😀
