Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 28.

And then there were 8…

If you’re arriving here wondering what on earth the above title is about then you either haven’t been paying attention or you are in for a big shock; basically Arsenal, Aston Villa, Man City and Sheffield United aren’t with us this week due to the Milk Cup final on Sunday.

We do still have a relatively full GW which spans 3 days though and it begins on Friday evening with Leicester licking their lips at the prospect of facing a now notoriously leaky Norwich.

We have the usual Saturday structure beginning with a lunchtime KO between Brighton and Palace before Bournemouth welcome Chelsea, Burnley go to Newcastle and West Ham host the Saints, all at 3pm. Watford and Liverpool see us out in the late game.

Sunday has just the 2 games, both at 2pm due to the aforementioned, and now traditional, trouncing of insert any team name (Villa) by City at Wembley. For the record the games are Everton hosting Man United and Wolves visting Spurs.

The games in full…

Guys, I was in the cinema, didn’t see any football.
    What the hell happened??

Is there a sobbing version of this GIF? : :drinks: . Would suit the mood :help: :suicide: .

But hey, at least we’re ALL doing poorly :good: .

There needs to be a gif in the spirit of Viz’s Drunken Bakers. That would suit the mood.

Maybe Wolves will ride to the rescue tomorrow and haul the average up to 20.

Having a side with everyone playing away did look odd, come to think of it.

      • Tornado says:

Next week is the other way around and everyone’s playing at home. Can’t wait cause it can’t be any worse! I will even have a benching headache – what a treat!

        • Kralin says:

Yes, I know – KdB is my only away player (who’ll I’ll be picking) – and it could be a DGW as well (though maybe it’s too late now to announce that).

And yes, benching headaches galore (unless I bench KdB).

        • Tornado says:

          Same here, Kralin, same here!

        • Otieno says:

I was certain MC would play on Mar 11 but it seems very unlikely now. Don’t know where the game can be rearranged now unless they get knocked out of FACup or CL

        • AJW says:

Hahaha Kralin – I can’t imagine you getting drunk and forgetting to bake the bread – only to wake up in a stupor of indifference (i.e. ignore putting KDB back on the field) – but I can imagine myself making some rash, paranoid move during the week, much like ‘Cockney W*nker’ and shouting out ‘No copper’s gonna take me alive!’, before plunging even more deeply in the OR! Lately my plans have been akin to those of Roger Mellie, the Man on the Telly, both absurd and offensive!
Bye for now – I’d like to say something from the Sweary Mary phrasebook, but common decency prevents me from doing so! Enjoy your Sunday!

        • Kralin says:

Mellie is brill. Viz is a very reassuring publication – one can go years without reading it then pick up a copy and there most of the characters are, picking up from wherever you left off last. I’ve always maintained that it contains the most accurate reflection of modern Britain.

But the bakers are my favourite.

I hope your GW is (at the very least) tracking the average. Just checked and you have some decent personnel still to come.

11 from 8. This will beat my worst ever score I’m sure(18), I’m sure.

So far zero after 6 games in H&L
