Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 28
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 28.
And then there were 8…
If you’re arriving here wondering what on earth the above title is about then you either haven’t been paying attention or you are in for a big shock; basically Arsenal, Aston Villa, Man City and Sheffield United aren’t with us this week due to the Milk Cup final on Sunday.
We do still have a relatively full GW which spans 3 days though and it begins on Friday evening with Leicester licking their lips at the prospect of facing a now notoriously leaky Norwich.
We have the usual Saturday structure beginning with a lunchtime KO between Brighton and Palace before Bournemouth welcome Chelsea, Burnley go to Newcastle and West Ham host the Saints, all at 3pm. Watford and Liverpool see us out in the late game.
Sunday has just the 2 games, both at 2pm due to the aforementioned, and now traditional, trouncing of insert any team name (Villa) by City at Wembley. For the record the games are Everton hosting Man United and Wolves visting Spurs.
The games in full…

Just switched KDB back into my team for next week and realised I have a real benching headache. 2FT as well, which may be needed to sort our Vardy.
You’ve a good excuse to play five at the back there.
Leicester not looking so good of late. Let’s see what this week brings, but potentially benching Soy and doing Vardy and Maddison to Auba and a 6m or less mid. Barnes or Traore?
Bit early to say. And Vardy is bound to score next week.
For once it seems I’ve given useful advice on Vardy’s mystery match disappearance, hope you’ve managed to stay clear of last minute capping or even transferring in! good luck this week!
Very useful though had I been alert enough I doubt I would have made a snap decision* given the general air of uncertainty at the moment.
* will discover your advice was sent at 8am.
I was as surprised as you, and to be fair just forwarded twitter chatter – albeit based on comments on reliability… Ended up knee-jerking him out on a hit, I’m sure it won’t pay off
I’m semi-relieved I didn’t do anything demented this week, like Vardy(c) and Barnes(v) but for all that my heart sank a little when I saw the former wasn’t playing.
But anyhow, very early days in what could be an interesting GW.
Let’s hope Salah and Traore comes through with double digits  :friends:
Buh-byes Lei CS :cray2:
Sorry mate. Since most people have the Turkish defender, I’m not unhappy… :aikido:
1-0 Norwich… :good:
If Norwich can hold on, it leaves them just 3pts adrift from the pack. Still some hope for them to escape.
I’d be amazed if anyone called the FGS or indeed even has him in their team.
Having triple Leicester hasn’t paid off for a looong time  . They’ve got 10 minutes to change that view!
*5… and counting *big sigh*
Let the rage transfers begin :help: .
I “proactively” hit Vardy… I mean took out… traded, I mean traded… I traded him for Jimenez and Martial for Bruno on a hit, Pereira is last man standing for gw29
You have no Leicester players, Raz? You must be tuned to the visionary pitch.
two quick Pereira goals, go go go! :bravo:
3-0 win for Pompey tonight. That’s ten home wins on the bounce. Arsenal next on Monday. I think they’ll have too much for us……
But you never know.
