Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 28.

And then there were 8…

If you’re arriving here wondering what on earth the above title is about then you either haven’t been paying attention or you are in for a big shock; basically Arsenal, Aston Villa, Man City and Sheffield United aren’t with us this week due to the Milk Cup final on Sunday.

We do still have a relatively full GW which spans 3 days though and it begins on Friday evening with Leicester licking their lips at the prospect of facing a now notoriously leaky Norwich.

We have the usual Saturday structure beginning with a lunchtime KO between Brighton and Palace before Bournemouth welcome Chelsea, Burnley go to Newcastle and West Ham host the Saints, all at 3pm. Watford and Liverpool see us out in the late game.

Sunday has just the 2 games, both at 2pm due to the aforementioned, and now traditional, trouncing of insert any team name (Villa) by City at Wembley. For the record the games are Everton hosting Man United and Wolves visting Spurs.

The games in full…

  1. Alonso with 3 goals in 2 games, is he back?

    • Other then city he has a class run coming up too

    • I sometimes wonder if anyone has told him he is playing defence… anyhow, must be a starter now I suppose (famous last words…)

    • To answer your question btw, both goals where pretty lucky imo; both were on the rebound and he was a bit lucky to be in the right place. Obviously he’s good at positioning himself and he’s playing far up the field, but I’d not expect chances like these every game for him. Happy to hear opposing views smile

  2. Pope is the king

    • Amen!

  3. Big yeah for Lascelles and the Pope! :hippo:

  4. No Vardy? No problem.

    Step up Federico Fernandez!

Legend of a signing him. Haven’t checked but I bet he’s in the bonus points too?

  5. 6 from 6. Great

  6. Hey everyone! Shocking week and it hasn’t even finished .. what’s everyone’s plan with wildcard, free hit , bench boost? Is there a post that I might have missed? Really struggling to get back on top of my mini league and really tempted to wild card

    • We haven’t done anything about it in an article yet and it’s been discussed sporadically in the comments but there’s nothing in-depth to go to I don’t think. Basically everyone is waiting around until we get more info; midweek will kick that off as we’ll know what GW31 looks like by Thursday. Announcing DGW’s will then be the next step. It’s all conjecture until then really.
