Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 28.
And then there were 8…
If you’re arriving here wondering what on earth the above title is about then you either haven’t been paying attention or you are in for a big shock; basically Arsenal, Aston Villa, Man City and Sheffield United aren’t with us this week due to the Milk Cup final on Sunday.
We do still have a relatively full GW which spans 3 days though and it begins on Friday evening with Leicester licking their lips at the prospect of facing a now notoriously leaky Norwich.
We have the usual Saturday structure beginning with a lunchtime KO between Brighton and Palace before Bournemouth welcome Chelsea, Burnley go to Newcastle and West Ham host the Saints, all at 3pm. Watford and Liverpool see us out in the late game.
Sunday has just the 2 games, both at 2pm due to the aforementioned, and now traditional, trouncing of insert any team name (Villa) by City at Wembley. For the record the games are Everton hosting Man United and Wolves visting Spurs.
The games in full…

Who would you pick out of any midfielder that costs 6.7 or less?
Probably grealish although fixtures aren’t great
Hm, just sold him. How about barnes or Perez? Or maybe even Wijnaldum?
I went with Barnes on my wc although Leicester seem to have gone off the boil a bit
Ismaila Sarr?….
Barnes, for what it’s worth.
France has banned all indoor gatherings of more than 5,000 people. That could be extended to other outdoor events I suppose. If the UK Government takes similar measures here we might see many blank and double gameweeks ahead
I dont find this funny, but some will 😉
:sarcastic_hand:
Now that’s just mean! :banned: :mosking:
I know you can’t move for hilarious stuff like this on the internet, but that’s a good example of the sort of tin-eared crap Secret Zorro thought was amusing.
If keeping the league going endangers human life then the league should be called off – or they should play the games behind closed doors.
We should receive some extra wildcards if this happens. Lol.
Raz, spot on :good:
Let’s hope we don’t end up there but if we do the FPL need to restructure the whole game.
Which is annoying me very much.
They cancelled the half marathon tomorrow, and I’m signed up for the marathon next month. Not very confident for it to happen if they just cancelled the half.
There’s absolutely no logic though as the football games are still taking place.
Frenchie, just watch the BBC news. A lady was talking from Paris as she just arrived for that marathon, only to find out that it has been cancelled. Don’t know where we are heading but it might get worse. Already a few seria A games in Italy are off.
It is all pretty weird.
I’ll start worrying when I hear temporary morgues are being prepared.
For now I’m just quietly buying an extra tin of baked beans now and again.
Kralin, Be prepared is always the right motto
How about if you are scheduled to play FC Porto and they announce they are bringing (Jesus) Corona with them!
FMLS has just started :bravo: – eat your heart out FPL :smoke:
Three years ago maybe. They had the best game out there by a mile. And then set about ruining it to the point that it’s now one of the worst.
Really weird the way they have fixed the team value this year
Damn, 0-7 was my prediction versus Watford. Nothing happening yet. :help:
Two Sarr goals. :buba:
Vvd hasn’t scored for a while. Just saying…
The LIV players must be tired. I have never seen them look so sluggish
