Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 28

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 28. Our gameweek kicks off in the East Midlands as Leicester look to bounce back from their mauling at Man City as they play host to Stoke. We then have five 3pm matches as Bournemouth host Newcastle, Brighton welcome Swansea, goals play hide and seek as Southampton go to Burnley, Salah and Firmino look to dismantle West Ham at Anfield and bottom bandits West Brom have a must-win match up with Huddersfield. The evening fare takes us down to Watford as thousands of angry FPL managers kick their TV’s in anger as Walcott misses chance after chance for the Toffees.

Sunday sees Arsenal meet Man City in the League Cup final, but before that The Senile One meets The Fixer as Man United ‘welcome’ Chelsea to Old Trafford.

Monday Night Football sees a London derby as Palace host Spurs. And it doesn’t finish there as Arsenal and Man City play their rearranged match on Thursday evening.

  1. Kane scores. Nice.
    Eriksen assist. Nice.

    Now to the bonus points ……..

    • Nicely played GP! Kane wasn’t anywhere close but he’s creeped up. Don’t think he’ll get there though…

      • Being a bit facetious there Pancho. I didn’t even see the game. Just made the assumption I’d be looked after with the BPs.

        • I just watched the second half and Kane missed a few good opportunities. Whole team did really. Looked like there was a hex on the goal that was tied to Tompkins smile
          He came out and Kane scored within minutes with a header above Delaney, who came in for Tompkins.

  2. I was kind of annoyed I had Lingard in my team till he just scored. No Mariappa but a scoring Lingard is pretty decent. Maybe Sterling or Ota or whomever will not play.

    • Sterling not even on the bench Raz for the cup final. He mostly won’t play mid week. U might get lucky.

      • Hi praveen – I’m hoping Sterling makes it still. He was rumored to be in squad for today (wasnt) but that would suggest he is close.

    • 49pts +9pts to come off the bench = 58pts.
      Ota+Sterling(hopefully) still to play.

      Finally a “perfect Sunday” for me…
      Tomkins going off with a CS (and 3bps) + Kane scoring right after that was more than ideal !
      Lingard’s cameo & his goal made it a perfect Sunday scenario!

      Decided to get Kane in for Aguero (instead of Shaq for Lingard) and it paid off.

      Hoping for some green arrows!
      After 3wks of seeing red arrows and dropping 40k places after being above avg in all, desperately needed a scenario like today’s one.

  6. Hmm. 53 points with Kun, STerling, Ota left to play. If one doesn’t play I’ll get Mariappa coming off of my bench. Pretty happy, overall.
