Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 29

Just the four games to trouble yourselves with this week, albeit they are spread over three days.

We begin on Friday with Fulaham welcoming Leeds. A contrast of styles if ever there was one, certainly on the touchline at least. Lady and the Tramp springs to mind. The Jacket vs The Bucket.

Saturday really just belongs to the FA Cup and as such we don’t get an actual FPL game until 8pm when Newcastle go to Brighton.

Sunday sees our final two games with West Ham vs Arsenal at 3pm and then Villa & Spurs finish our very short GW off at 7.30pm.

We then get a couple of weeks off as the International Break kicks in. We shall however no doubt have a few articles along the way to keep you entertained / informed.

    • I like it! Havertz isn’t my cup of tea, but he could be good diffsmile

    • I like it. But isn’t it better to WC after GW30?

    • No City is interesting, but the team looks good.

    • Looks good. I’d recommend Iheanacho over Adams and probably Dias over TAA (until Pool get back on their feet).

    • Hi Frenchie. Nice team. I wonder if KDB over Salah given that you have two Liverpool outside of it

    • Looks good! I’d maybe have a City mid over Salah (to have some MCI coverage for GW30), but it could go either way!

    • Everton have a dwg coming up, I’d look to move taa to one of them maybe. Then getting dcl in the week before is easy

  2. Wildcard first draft

    • I would be tempted to go with Kane over Vardy due to ownership and DGW at some point. I would be tempted to double up on Che defense and go Rudiger over Coady.

      • He is doubling up on Chelsea def – Mendy and James. I kinda agree with Kane over Vardy but Lei fixtures look tasty!

      • He has Mendy already though and James. Agree re Kane. Bamford and Antonio fixtures are a bit hit and miss.

      • Good thoughts. Although I like WOL and LEI fixtures after GW30 and already have Mendy for double CHE defence wth James & Mendy. How about losing Mo or KDB or Bruno for Kane (with Bam to Raph) ?

        • Bam to Kane I think you mean and x to Raph. Ya I do like that – means a Kane/Vardy/Antonio front line.

          Not sure whether I’d pick Bamford or Antonio but I guess Bamford has some hard fixtures coming up.

          I wouldnt lose Bruno (at least yet) so its between Mo (out of form) and KDB (rotation hell)

        • Suppose I could do KDB to Gundo keeping city cover and giving money for Kane and 1.0 left over.

    • Benching headaches all over the park but good looking team overall.

    • Not tempted by Kane and Vardy – enabled by throwing KdB over for the never-ending wonder that is Gundogan? (whose being benched is easier to digest at that price).

      I may also think about Chelsea’s Mount.

  5. Such a weird gameweek. Been a while since I forgot a deadline and this one was quite essential. Just like the gameweek 1 deadline. HAHAHAHA!

    Think I missed quite a few. Aaah well, have 7 playing. Hoping I won’t dorp more than 200k places. laugh
