Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 3.
Well looky here, we start on a Friday again. This time it is Aston Villa playing host to barely scoring Everton, but not to worry Toffee fans, nothing can fix an attack faster than a game vs the Villains.

Saturday brings us six fixtures. They kick-off with a lunch time meeting between Pukki mania and a team that gave Hazard’s number 10 to Willian. After that there is four 3pm games. Brighton vs Southampton is accompanied by Man United against Palace, the surprising Sheffield, match-up versus the Ayoze Perez led Leicester and Watford tangle with West Ham. The day is capped with the best game on paper when first place Liverpool plays first place Arsenal.

Sunday has three more fixtures in store for us. The early game sees Bournemouth get pummeled by City in a game that could see The Cherries 25th choice keeper Aaron Ramsdale get rammed up the…. The latter two games has Spurs take apart Toon and Wolves fight it out with Burnley.

The games in full…

Well that Arsenal goal is annoying. Not having the best of starts

      Zed Leppelin says:

Yeah, Robbo keeps on disappointing, Trent at least has two assists already…

      • Raziel says:

I picked the cheapest option in Van Dijk. Many picked Rob over Taa. I wonder why. Taa takes corners and free kicks right?

        • Kralin says:

As I’m sure you’re well aware, though perhaps you’ve forgotten, there was some debate at the start of the season that Robbo doesn’t have much cover and so seemed the more nailed of the two. That may explain his marginally higher ownership.

Interestingly some Liverpool fans*, heartened generally by the way things are going, have described TAA as being ‘slightly off’ or ‘not quite on it yet’.

        • Smash says:

Robbo has been frustrating. Keeps putting the crosses in and getting forward but don’t have the returns to match

        • Kralin says:

I ditched him this week but it wasn’t a move I enjoyed making. We’ve had this sort of thing in the past with Alonso. Three games though is the usualish run you give players though, isn’t it, and patience is wearing a bit thin. Not bad fixtures looming though.

I’m half thinking about VVD as a sort of compromise as/when the time comes to remove Zinchenko / Coleman from my side.

        • Smash says:

Yeah three games is a decent time to give a player. Next two are decent though so maybe I should give him that. Martial injury though as well as might have got him and changed to 3-5-2

        • Kralin says:

Martial getting injured – as yet there doesn’t seem a lot of info – is a headache I could do without. But will cross that bridge when I come to it. On the subject of bridges, your man Mount (assuming he’s not injured) looks a possible replacement for Martial (assuming he is injured).

        • Smash says:

Yeah he seems to be getting points. The threat of rotation looms but he must be fairly nailed now. I was a bit annoyed I could not afford him instead of Feballes

        • Kralin says:

Mount is bringing home the bacon though so, admittedly, is Cantwell for Norwich. If I didn’t have Lundstram then Cantwell would be appealing, but two enablers is pushing things a bit.

Getting tempted by the wildcard. Have Robertson, Jota and Zouma. They all look like dripping tonight. Not keen on loosing .3. Would also like to swap Kane to Salah going forward. And probably go to three at the back.

To be fair didn’t expect Liverpool to keep a clean sheet. might give robbo one more game but then not sure of a good replacement

Any Spurs fans out there? When in Ndombele likely to return? Thanks

      chins says:

Not sure anyone would admit to being a Spurs fan on a public forum.

Although, as an Arsenal fan I should probably be hiding in shame after that performance too. What was I thinking taking out Salah for Firmino?!

      KI says:

Cheap shot, Chins. What was David Luiz thinking? Salah on a sharp angle, and his wrong foot for one, and then trying to beat Salah 1v1 with no backing? Ndombele for you, next week, and a season’s keeper probably. smile

    Rosco says:

Would it be madness to -4 Salah back in for Mane?
