Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 3.
Well looky here, we start on a Friday again. This time it is Aston Villa playing host to barely scoring Everton, but not to worry Toffee fans, nothing can fix an attack faster than a game vs the Villains.

Saturday brings us six fixtures. They kick-off with a lunch time meeting between Pukki mania and a team that gave Hazard’s number 10 to Willian. After that there is four 3pm games. Brighton vs Southampton is accompanied by Man United against Palace, the surprising Sheffield, match-up versus the Ayoze Perez led Leicester and Watford tangle with West Ham. The day is capped with the best game on paper when first place Liverpool plays first place Arsenal.

Sunday has three more fixtures in store for us. The early game sees Bournemouth get pummeled by City in a game that could see The Cherries 25th choice keeper Aaron Ramsdale get rammed up the…. The latter two games has Spurs take apart Toon and Wolves fight it out with Burnley.

  1. Looks like pukki is now a must have. Will have to go -4 to get him , which of these is preferred?
Kwp and king> mings + pukki
Ceballos and kane > de bruyne + pukki.

  2. Any love for Tammy’ Abraham, tempted to do greenwood anf vvd to tammy and Aaron’s for a hit, any views, mad or what?

    • Sorry, Hanley of Norwich, 4m

    • Think I’d want to see more of Tammy personally. Still has competition in the background but he could be a great option

      • Cheers Smash. I’m weighing up whether another striker would be better than having vvd, whose position can be rotated between 3 options.

        • I prefer the current structure you have

        • Ok, cheers bud, I may hold off for another while so.

    • Iggy – VVD outscores Tammy by far, imo, so that only makes sense if you think a Norwich defender outscores Greenwood by a bigger margin. Nevermind the -4. It’s a big no for me.

      • I’m not sure about vvd scoring more than Abraham, Liverpool are conceding in every game, and Abraham is only going to get better, I think.

        • Man U man – sorry, for some odd reason I thought Iggy wrote that.

On the subject: Liverpool ‘only’ had 21 CS. That’s 17 games where they’ve conceeded so surely you can’t judge this season by 3 games. There’s just no way Tammy outscores VVD mate.

  3. Well I’m kind of glad I only watched the Pukki game yesterday.
Looking at my FPL team this morning, it’s a proper disaster.

  4. Looks like Zinchenko might be on borrowed time. Think I’d want a fully fit Mendy

    • If martial dosen’t start next week, do you think greenwood will?

    • Wouldn’t be surprised if he stars Cancelo on the left today.

      • That might push me to wildcard territory

        • Luckily not then

        • Mendy could be back in the 18 next week or at the very least after the break. Surely Zinchenko days are numbered as a reliable option, even if he does continue getting game time only a matter of time before it is significantly diminished.

  5. City

  6. Oh hello GW3, I remember you. You’re the one that reminds us that this FPL malarkey isn’t as easy as we thought. We confidently plotted GW1 and GW2 on the graph, got our ruler out, drew a long extrapolating line along the entirety of the graph, and boldly predicted the course of the season.

Then you shat on the graph. From a great height. Again. Like you do every season.

Us: “Lundstram looks good enough to be in my starting 11”
    GW3: “Hold my beer”

Us: “Ceballos is pure class and at £5.5m (now £5.6m – hurry up!) he’s a must have”
    GW3: “Hold my beer”

Us: “Rashford and AWB are great, and host a woeful Palace this week. Their high ownership will hurt you – they’re must haves”
    GW3: “Hold my beer”

Us: “Mount is a season keeper at his price”
    GW3: “Ben?”
    Godfrey: “Yes boss?”
GW3: “You know what to do”
    Godfrey: “Yes boss”

Us: “It’s never a good idea owning West Ham assets, they always disappoint. Their big money striker didn’t even play in GW2! Lol!”
    GW3: “Sébastien?”
    Haller: “Oui?”
    GW3: “Godspeed”
    Haller: “Merci”

    GW3: “Hey Mo!”
    Salah: “Yes, GW3?”
    GW3: “Everyone is selling you”
Salah: “But I’m cheaper than last year”
GW3: “They reckon Mane + £1m is better”
Salah: “But don’t they remember what happened last time they sold me?”
    GW3: “……………..”
    Salah: “Hold my beer”
    GW3: “Good lad”
