Well looky here, we start on a Friday again. This time it is Aston Villa playing host to barely scoring Everton, but not to worry Toffee fans, nothing can fix an attack faster than a game vs the Villains.
Saturday brings us six fixtures. They kick-off with a lunch time meeting between Pukki mania and a team that gave Hazard’s number 10 to Willian. After that there is four 3pm games. Brighton vs Southampton is accompanied by Man United against Palace, the surprising Sheffield, match-up versus the Ayoze Perez led Leicester and Watford tangle with West Ham. The day is capped with the best game on paper when first place Liverpool plays first place Arsenal.
Sunday has three more fixtures in store for us. The early game sees Bournemouth get pummeled by City in a game that could see The Cherries 25th choice keeper Aaron Ramsdale get rammed up the…. The latter two games has Spurs take apart Toon and Wolves fight it out with Burnley.

Everton have struggled to score goals all through pre-season, I don’t know where the goals are going to come from, it seems like only Dinge knows where the oppositions goal is.

Will Iwobi block him more than Bernard? Wud have thought he was more likely to tuck in than go wide.
Don’t think Iwobi will block Digne too much, he goes inside too
Does Idrisa Gueye’s departure created a hole? Otherwise its the same team and looks with surprisingly lack of idea in creating chances.
Gueye offered nothing offensively. Gomes looks poor tonight. Missing a focal point. DCL not at this level. He is a good worker – not enough goals.
This is so typical Everton though, they play shite and then everyone sells all of their assets and suddenly they start playing amazing…

:fuck: I only did that because I went the game, always feels different when you are there and you can get a proper feel for the overall picture.
I can do it for this but in all honesty I only saw what you did; which was that they were sh*te!

Begining to look like Everton’s results will only be in binary this year. Perhaps they will thrillingly set both the records for least goals scored and conceded.
If they don’t score goals they will not get anywhere though and realistically how many clean sheets will they get if every team knows they only have to put one past Everton and Everton have no comeback.
Interesting stat I saw on the BBC earlier:
Everton have failed to come from behind at HT to win a PL game since September 2015 at West Brom (W0 D5 L33 since).
Having a Plan B that works is a big problem for them!
