Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 3
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 3.
Well looky here, we start on a Friday again. This time it is Aston Villa playing host to barely scoring Everton, but not to worry Toffee fans, nothing can fix an attack faster than a game vs the Villains.
Saturday brings us six fixtures. They kick-off with a lunch time meeting between Pukki mania and a team that gave Hazard’s number 10 to Willian. After that there is four 3pm games. Brighton vs Southampton is accompanied by Man United against Palace, the surprising Sheffield, match-up versus the Ayoze Perez led Leicester and Watford tangle with West Ham. The day is capped with the best game on paper when first place Liverpool plays first place Arsenal.
Sunday has three more fixtures in store for us. The early game sees Bournemouth get pummeled by City in a game that could see The Cherries 25th choice keeper Aaron Ramsdale get rammed up the…. The latter two games has Spurs take apart Toon and Wolves fight it out with Burnley.
The games in full…

Wesley looks good in the 6m radar. Still have Murray to play, but him to Wesley might be a decent move, unless he scores a brace against Soton.
Having a strategy of buying every player who scored the week before isn’t a strategy. He looked ok but did he look massively threatening and like someone who will show up every week?
There aren’t many options in that range. He looked decent enough and looks pivotal to Villa attack. They have very good fixtures as well. I’m not saying that everyone needs to get him in their teams. But, if someone wants a player in that range, he’s an option.
That (dirt) cheap second or third striker is one I’m interested to find, though King of Bournemouth could take a price tumble and become a semi-answer. I was looking at Ings earlier in the week but held off for now.
After this week King faces Leicester(A), Everton(H), and Soton(A), which seem to make him a viable option in that price bracket again.
Haven’t you literally just done the same with your team? Lol
Not particularly. Picked 15 players and only 4 of those scored last week.
My point was more about just picking some random player because he suddenly scored out of the blue.
Out of those I picked who scored last week Mané, Pukki and Sterling look like potential consistent scorers. Lundstram is a convenient enabler at that price, I don’t expect goals there.
Thoughts on this team?
Looks like you’re just chasing points to me. #touche
Apologies Aarron, just being facetious. Is that a WC proposal?
I haven’t done it, it’s just a draft, reckon more people in the league were will do the same as you by next weekend, one’s already got a similar team both done wildcard on the same game week
It’s a wildcard proposal, think the defence looks weak though
It’s weak but weak is ok if the lot rotate well enough. Home games and not playing the top 6 being the key.
I don’t want to look like ass-kissing Init, but Wesley didn’t even look good to me tonight.
I don’t see him as a FPL option.
That’s not ass kissing, it’s just an opinion. I don’t need my ass kissing, I’m more than happy for people to disagree!
Rubbish!
:hippo: :big-lol:
He plays a bit like Heskey
Wow
Read it and weep non Wild carders!
First point on the board!
How d’ya like them apples?
Hahah off to a blistering start! After the next 9 matches you may be whistling a different tune!
Many have “0” on their scoreboards. Those who went with Coleman I mean. Today could change that figures drastically..
Always preferred oranges…
Same as you, Hatter! Loving life so far :beach: !
hi guys – sorry to go off piste and sure you will have covered this numerous times earlier – but is there an FPL issue with the page format – I got players ‘bleeding’ into the margins and overlaying the player listings – most annoying and the reason I am sure for me not being in the top 10k as yet! So is there an FPL technical glitch do we know
I’ve not had that myself, seems to be behaving fine on mine using Chrome.
ok thanks guys
Iv’e not had this problem as of yet Drexl!
Digne is a great player, but is more assist based than scoring. This is a problem if your team mates can’t score. Is he worth 6M.
Top of defenders total points thus far, and that’s with Everton playing like #%*# 😉
Depends on what you can get for 6m that could out-point him. Maybe this Arsenal midfield guy is the answer and then move to a 3/5/2.
All that dead-ball stuff endears him (Diggers) to me, but I appreciate he’s not with the most dynamic of sides. ‘Not the most dynamic’ have still a good CS record recently though. There will be a monster haul or two from Digne before the season’s out, I’m sure.
they have good CS potential too
Can’t believe people are getting rid
I want to buy him – just need to figure out how
Just thinking of brining in Mina or Digne.
Just realized Kante is out injured! All aboard the Pukki train chuu chuuuuu :locomotive:
Or maybe he’s not, apparently 50/50… Oops, we’ll he might be out… 😆
As a non owner, I’m now actually worried that he’s going to smash it. Half of my ML seem to have brought him in!
as long as zouma is playing there is always hope pukki owners
Well, I have Zouma and half-hoping for a redemption display from him.
Indeed, the Chelski defense doesn’t fill me with confidence, think Pukki will at least get chances!
