Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 3
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 3.
Manchester ‘the new Arsenal’ United try and do better this weekend in the first fixture of the gameweek when they face Brighton, that 4th place won’t win itself you know.
That is followed by Palace taking on Everton. A match up of two low to mid table two teams tied for top of the league on points.
West Brom will be looking to get their first point of the season when they play host to Chelsea. The Baggies forwards will be on high alert in case the Chelsea keeper is looking for his second assist of the season.
In the last game of the day Burnley will take on Southampton and their revolutionary tactics.
Sunday sees four more fixtures all nicely spread out. The early game pits a team headed back to the Championship in Sheffield United versus a team who just came from the Championship in Leeds, should be a fun watch. Leeds will do their best to make it a 4-3 game while The Blades do their best to make it a -4 to -3 game.
Spurs versus Toon is next on the Sunday menu where the on, off, back on Son train will look to reward his fickle owners and the loyalists who were with him from day one.
Man City then takes on first place Leicester in what should be an intriguing game.
The last of the bunch on this second day of action pits the mighty Hammers (heehee) vs Jimi and the Wolves.
Monday arrives with a two game meal and once again they’re conveniently spread out for us. The first is the bad appetizer in Fulham going up against Villa. But it’s ok, you went to the restaurant for the steak not the appetizer. And that steak will taste delicious as Liverpool sends Arsenal fans back to the cave where they belong as chants of ‘Arteta is not your saviour’ can be heard from the Kloppites.
The games in full…

Howdy all! Gonna drop a fair few places tonight with a total of 4 points from 3 (Ryan/Zaha/Werner)! :big-lol:
On to tomorrow and a Captain Harry hat trick!
Amazing rank though, Pancho! Congrats on your score last week, by the way! Your faith in Spurs paid dividends!
Great rank Pancho!
The first rage transfer done.
DCL → Martial.
Following hit on Jimenez → Werner is pending.
Trust you mean the other way round! Or do you have some insight that we don’t?
Otieno, DCL just replaced Martial. Jimenez coming in for Werner is in the pipe.
You definitely have those arrows the wrong way
OK guys, sorry. I thought was simple.
DCL → entered my team to replace Martial
Had a shocker gw up till now..a huge 11 points and below average..but theres always 2morrow
Took all of my self control and a bit more to not do Werner to Jimi last night.
What would you do with this lot ?
1FT and 0.5itb
Werner to Jimi ? Davies to a Wolves defender ? Anything else ?
Werner to Jimenez
:hippo:
:smoke:
Haha thanks guys. Hope the 0.2 doesn’t come back to bite me in the ass
Damn price rises done me, DCL & Jimenez gone up, Werner gone down. God knows what I’ll do now.
Oh and Wilson dropped too, had 0.2 spare but now 0.2 short :dash:
Shadow
We’re a mile out from next gameweek and Jimenez hasn’t even played this one yet!
The obvious moves one day aren’t always the same the next.
I know, just feel like I’m losing potential team value which always comes in handy later on in the season. 3 of my current 11 all dropped last night.
Depends how you play the game. If you were so focused on value you would have sold last night.
Now that you haven’t, you can hang on, make sure the League Cup games don’t cause any injuries and transfer with full facts next Friday.
I fell asleep before I had chance :big-lol:
But yes might aswell wait now.
How did Reece James manage to get a bonus point yesterday?
3 goals conceded, no assists, no goals, but still got +1 bonus point.
I mean, I’m not complaining as he’s in my team. Just wondering how he managed it?!
(It’s generally a good sign when a defender still manages to gets bonus points in a team that conceded goals)
Ian
He played very advanced most of the game and was Chelsea’s biggest attacking threat I thought. Especially in the first half.
Like I said, always a good sign when a defender is frequently getting in positions for attacking returns.
TAA 2.0? I’m willing to back him!
I wouldn’t sell no.
I’m not sure how he didn’t get any attacking returns in that game. I’m still scratching my head and my team could have done with the points
