Manchester ‘the new Arsenal’ United try and do better this weekend in the first fixture of the gameweek when they face Brighton, that 4th place won’t win itself you know.
That is followed by Palace taking on Everton. A match up of two low to mid table two teams tied for top of the league on points.
West Brom will be looking to get their first point of the season when they play host to Chelsea. The Baggies forwards will be on high alert in case the Chelsea keeper is looking for his second assist of the season.
In the last game of the day Burnley will take on Southampton and their revolutionary tactics.
Sunday sees four more fixtures all nicely spread out. The early game pits a team headed back to the Championship in Sheffield United versus a team who just came from the Championship in Leeds, should be a fun watch. Leeds will do their best to make it a 4-3 game while The Blades do their best to make it a -4 to -3 game.
Spurs versus Toon is next on the Sunday menu where the on, off, back on Son train will look to reward his fickle owners and the loyalists who were with him from day one.
Man City then takes on first place Leicester in what should be an intriguing game.
The last of the bunch on this second day of action pits the mighty Hammers (heehee) vs Jimi and the Wolves.
Monday arrives with a two game meal and once again they’re conveniently spread out for us. The first is the bad appetizer in Fulham going up against Villa. But it’s ok, you went to the restaurant for the steak not the appetizer. And that steak will taste delicious as Liverpool sends Arsenal fans back to the cave where they belong as chants of ‘Arteta is not your saviour’ can be heard from the Kloppites.

How many of us are playing FPL the old school way. No transfers till the pressers. I have played by this rule for years, and it works well, but this time it looks like the prices are too volatile. We will lose team value quickly and easily.

I don’t criticise those who go early tactically – they know the risks – but what annoys me is people rushing moves because of money. That’s a shame. But avoidable if you’re strong willed.
It’s very hard to wait, I have lost .1 on Werner and the two replacements have gone up in price by .1 as well.
It happens, Gavy, and I was very tempted to make my move(s) last night. That said, with a loss absorbed, we can hopefully make somewhat better (at least more-informed) decisions now.
I used to be like that and never moved early. Now I think there is more of an argument for it. Training injuries are fairly rare and even when there are injuries the managers are not even necessarily telling us about them in press conferences

You don’t seem to have many problems elsewhere Ian. That’s good.
Taking Bruno out after a goal and assist (and as a penalty taker) for a player still settling. I’m not convinced.
I wouldnt bother wasting two transfers on Havertz.Chelsea are an avoid for me at the moment.Till Pulisic comes back and looks fit anyway.
Just seen Wilson has Burnley home next week, might have to to hold onto him for another week.
Burnley are no mugs, Shadow, but I certainly can’t criticise your patience with a player like Callum Wilson.
Just thinking in regards to them missing their CB’s, not sure if they’ll be back next week though.

Current team. Doing decently so far. 30K overall and top of ML.
Hence need to decide if I should jump on DCL bandwagon or shore up defence.
You could just go Kane to DCL?
Dont want to lose Kane yet! He is the differential in my ML. none of the others have him! And he is doing well so far.

It sounds like you’re set on DCL in (based on “priced out of…”) and, looking at GP’s corresponding heat maps, you’re probably on the right lines.
Just feel like he could continue his form for the next few games at least.
Just concern with that move is that my back line will be made up of very cheap defenders who might lose their spot anytime!
Hence the dilemma!
I’d just save your transfer your team looks decent.Re-assess next gameweek.
