Just as we are getting into our straps and figuring out a few trends, we are as usual rudely interrupted once again by an International Break after GW3. That itself is a simple and compact 2 day affair, as a result;

12:30 Chelsea v Fulham (TNT Sports)
15:00 Manchester United v Burnley, Sunderland v Brentford, Tottenham Hotspur v AFC Bournemouth and Wolves v Everton
17:30 Leeds United v Newcastle United (Sky Sports)

Sunday 31 August
14:00 Brighton & Hove Albion v Manchester City (Sky Sports), Nottingham Forest v West Ham United (Sky Sports)
16:30 Liverpool v Arsenal (Sky Sports)
19:00 Aston Villa v Crystal Palace (Sky Sports)

Blink and you’ll miss it. See you in two weeks or so……

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

  1. For those who haven’t heard, legendary former ManU coach erik ten haag has been fired by Bayer Leverkusen after 2 matchdays. rofl
    Fastest ever firing ?

    • crazy Oh dear…what ever did he do? Or not do?

    • two days!

      • Well around 7 days I suppose. 2 gameweeks. laugh

        • Leverkusen have gone from invincibles just 15 months ago to just selling basically everyone. And Wirtz has gone from superstar to major flop similar to j sancho, nkunku, etc. coming from Bundesliga unless Wirtz somehow proves everyone wrong in the coming months.

        • Wirtz is a ‘major flop’ is some take.

He’s played 4 games and is adapting, and may still be for a time, to English football.

Never fancied ETH to work at Leverkusen and I would credit their board and sporting director for fixing their mistake very quickly.

        • I hope he does. But sometimes i wonder why leave a club where u r a legend. Preventing Bayern from winning the league is in itself a big feat in 2023/24.

  2. On a Wc, which arsenal defender? Don’t want ‘boring’ Gabriel, so
Califiori or Timber? Both are exciting but seem injury prone.

    • With Lewis-Skelly and Hincapie there, I would tend to avoid the left hand side.

Timber seems less likely to be rotated out just now so maybe him.

      • I am on WC and put in Califiori as well, but if this is correct about Timber I think I will have to switch.

    • Boring can be good sometimes, while the fullbacks had put out huge scores!

Expect Gabriel to do the same at some point, Arsenal love a set piece goal and so dose he..

    • Calafiori is supposed to be going up in price again tonight.

  3. Where is everyone?

  4. Hello – some of us are here.
I remember that someone posted a link to a site where the stats predicting price rises/falls was mentioned.
    Anyone have it?

  5. No posts in 24hrs unknw

  6. For GW4, I am thinking that Mateta would be worth punting on, faces Sunderland at home, has a pretty good run after that, of course the problem is that he has done nothing of note so far
