Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 3

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 3. “It’s time to play the music, It’s time to light the lights…”. With game-weeks 1&2 done & dusted it’s time to sit down and hopefully enjoy GW3, our final game-week before the international break. Our game-week kicks off at lunchtime on Saturday as a pointless Bournemouth take on a City side who have yet to sparkle. This is followed by four 3pm kick-offs, all of which appear to be rather uninspiring. Saturday concludes with free scoring United hosting a Leicester City side who look somewhat rejuvenated this season.

At 1:30pm on Sunday Chelsea will look to build upon their win over Spurs as they face Spurs. At the same time West Brom host Stoke in what is likely to be an enthralling game!! 4pm sees Liverpool host Arsenal in a game that has a history of goals. Also at 4pm those that have sold and those have held onto Harry Kane will be biting their nails as he seeks to break his August duck as Burnley visit Wembley.

  1. Right chaps, would you lose Pogba or Mkhi for a ‘Pool mid? Looks like Mkhi will keep getting subbed off with 15-20 to go so I’m leaning towards giving him the chop for that reason.

And then would you go for Salah or Mane? Thanks

    • Yo CC

I’m thinking of bringing Mkhitaryan IN. Loving these assist stats of his.

I would go Pogba to Mane who I think is less prone to rotation than Salah.

      • Thanks GP. Mkhi out has no bearing on his great form, but it would be one of him or Pogba making way. Headache.

    • Depends on the rest of your team ?

      • Here you go Brooky:
        Foster (Elliot)
        Alonso, Cedric, Naughton (Lowe, Long)
        Alli, Pogba, Mkhi, RLC (Carroll)
        Kane, Lukaku, Chicharito

        • I think sell Mkhi, only because Pog is a greedy got and shoots whenever he gets the chance. I think he’ll just sneak more points.

        • Greedy git even*

  2. Anyone planning to triple up on pool coverage?

  3. Think Kane is becoming that player we hang on to more in fear than anything. When I first started playing this game,if a player didn’t produce (never mind a player for 12.5m) for 3 games on the trot I would dump them without giving it a second thought. Now I sit there worrying about what might happen if I do !!

    • Didn’t Kane have a rough patch 2 seasons ago? His stats show that something big is going to happen but when I have no frigging idea

      • An interesting stat last season was he scored a quarter of his goals in the last 2 games of the season !!

    • It’s a concern Brookyboy but I thk a few more games & I will start to worry smile

  4. Is Jesus to Moratta advisable?
    Or someone else?

  5. Thinking of Kane and Ince to Firmino and Ali. 0.5 will be itb so should I do it now or wait for IB? And any other suggestions?

    • That seems much stronger Snookie. The Kane fixtures look great after the next one

      • Someone suggested watching MOTD before doing any transfers. It seems solid advice. Have u 2 FT’s? if so, given how early it is in the season, I’d chance the early trf and take hits if injuries occur during the IB

  6. Whats the view re Stones? Back next gw or now rotation risk?

    • For 5.5 he’s definitely not worth it with rotation from Pep and poor defense of City

    • Dreamers I thk they are a lot better at the back this season & I thk Stones should astablish himself this season 😉

    • Thats fairly helpful so lads smile
