Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 3
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 3. “It’s time to play the music, It’s time to light the lights…”. With game-weeks 1&2 done & dusted it’s time to sit down and hopefully enjoy GW3, our final game-week before the international break. Our game-week kicks off at lunchtime on Saturday as a pointless Bournemouth take on a City side who have yet to sparkle. This is followed by four 3pm kick-offs, all of which appear to be rather uninspiring. Saturday concludes with free scoring United hosting a Leicester City side who look somewhat rejuvenated this season.
At 1:30pm on Sunday Chelsea will look to build upon their win over Spurs as they face Spurs. At the same time West Brom host Stoke in what is likely to be an enthralling game!! 4pm sees Liverpool host Arsenal in a game that has a history of goals. Also at 4pm those that have sold and those have held onto Harry Kane will be biting their nails as he seeks to break his August duck as Burnley visit Wembley.

Init,
Many thanks, especially for the late, late attention.
whats the best City coverage? Silva? Jesus? others?
Jesus
It’s 4.30 in the morning and I Can’t sleep….buzzing mosquito in my ear all night.
Samsam I’m going with silva matey.
Here’s life without Kane..
Not bad at all. Impressive actually.
Thx B
U got ur wc out?
BigPopz,
Nice midfield mate. However I do think its a mistake going without Kane if one is wildcarding.
Had so many chances saved or narrowly missed yesterday.
For me he remains a must own on the basis of his play, the chances being created for him, his stats and his fixtures.
Hey cookie
Cheers mate
On Kane (who I’ve had from the start) he’s been really unlucky but I feel it’s time to spend that cash elsewhere.
I’m falling behind so can’t afford to sit back and hope he starts scoring.
Anyways if he does then I’ll take a hit to squeeze him back in.
Fair enough mate – I’ve had him also, falling behind but going to keep with him. Unless he gets injured of course!
Those fixtures are superb and I seem to remember everyone selling him after his blank vs Burnley last season.
Yep, been burned by him every week as my captain, amassing a whopping 8 points for the cause. However, I won’t be selling him. He’s the only player, maybe bar Sanchez, that has the fear factor, for me.
Unfortunately I sold him yesterday after blank against Burnley, no one in ML have him so nothing to fear and got Ali so minimizes the damage if he fires!
I agree with Cookie; he has a lot of chances and close shots off the bar. But the niggling feeling is – he isn’t collecting those points while we lose ground slowly but surely and most of the other players can just get him in when he does start performing, so they stand to lose, at most, a week or two, of the points that Kane would then start accumulating. Decisions, decisions. Cheers guys.
Form is temporary but class is permanent. That sums up Kane in my opinion.!
Can’t get my head around Atsu. Had pretty decent returns in the Championship in the limited time he played, but why didn’t he play regularly? Thinking of dropping Ince for him.
Hi all!
Benteke getting on my nerves.
1Ft and 0.4ITB
1. Benteke -> Chicarito
2. Benteke -> Rooney
3. Other?
Forster
Dawson Davies Yoshida
Willian Ritchie Mane Alli
Benteke Jesus Lukaku
Elliot T.Carroll Mee Hunemeier
I have a very similar team to you, and ditched tekkers for Chicarito last week. That said, if you have the funds, Rooney is looking a much better option, in my opinion. Especially after GW6.
Cheers, leaning towards Rooney.
Are you serious about Rooney? May as well get Defoe and Crouch to complete your attack.
From what I’ve seen of Everton Rooney’s looked really sharp. Everton themselves have also looked really good, and against tough opposition too. Rooney also seems to be the focul point of their attack, and their fixtures get quite nice fairly soon. I think he’s a bargain at 7.6.
Yesterday’s Hero
This seasons fourth highest scoring striker – and they’ve had to play City & Chelsea away.
