Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 31

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 31. Blink and you’ll miss it, is probably the best way to describe GW31. Or blank GW31 as it is more commonly known. Just four fixtures survive the week due to the FA Cup quarter finals which are also taking place this week.

Three of our games take place at 3pm on Saturday as Bournemouth are the next to have shooting practice vs West Brom, Huddersfield welcome Crystal Palace and Everton get a chance to improve their away record as they go to Stoke.

Of more interest to most will be the evening kick off and the end of our game-week as Liverpool host Watford at Anfield. And that’s it!

  1. Is anyone else having problems uploading images? Whenever I try the message fails and I get this error:

    Incorrect file type. File type must be one of the following: jpeg, pjpeg, png, gif, heif, hevc

    I’m just doing screenshots on my iphone, which I’m pretty sure are png’s.

    A bit hungover today.

    First team is current one. Second is a potential WC

    What do you think?

    • not sure on Tosun and might hold off on one of Son or Willian for a week

    • You’re not the only one nursing a hangover today!

      Not sure on with Tosun, especially as he doesn’t help much on the DGW front. Maybe Barnes instead? What’s your chip situation? Just noticed a lot of cash tied up in keepers too.

  3. Finding it hard to ditch Firmino on a wild card. That’s the decision that’s annoying me on whether to play it currently

    • Yea I’m gonna be losing a lot of value in him, but I think it need to be done. I’ll keep Salah irrespective of DWGs, but that’s about it I think.

      • Yeah it’s 0.5 I’d lose on him which is a lot so that’s what I need to decide. I’m wary of Rosco’s point so may go with two Salah and Karius. Firmino is the tough one

    • I’m keeping him, made the mistake of ditching in form SGW players before, won’t be doing it again! I’ll ditch him in 37 but play him in 34!
      Trying to get a team that’s good for 34 and 37 is doing my head in!!

      • It might sound harsh, but I’m not sure I’d really class Firmino as on form. Liverpool are scoring for fun, and he’s only getting the odd goal.

    • liverpool got quite a few tough ones coming up, especially with the Man City games sandwiched in between palace and everton. Won’t be much of a big loss to WC and ditch Firmino.

      Whats your potential WC squad looking like?

      • Looks like this. I have done one keeping Firmino as well but it’s likely the other one

      • squad 1 looks good. really like it. can change murray to barnes if you fancy.

        • I don’t fancy Barnes. Others have him as back up really. Austin potentially if he’s back

    • Yeah had that conundrum myself but Lukaku has 2 dgw’s some good fixtures and is a potential captain option for dgw 34.Throw the potential rotation of Firmino,with the champions league,in the mix and that edged it for me.

  4. Here’s my first stab at a WC, to serve for both GW34 and GW37 (I’ll BB in 35).

    Thoughts anyone?

    • looks pretty good mate. probably have mahrez in there instead of mkhi.

      • Thanks mate. I think for GW34 I’d prefer Mkhi, but after that I’d be looking at moving on Auba & Mkhi for Vardy & Mahrez, in time for GW37.

    • I like it, not too dissimilar to mine but I’m keeping a Liverpool trio.., for now!! Loving my midfield 5! No Chelsea so that’s a concern although I’m sick of them so may just ignore them till 37

    • Rambo needs to go. He’s been struggling with injury. Prob needs an op so will likely be rested in league for Europe . Like the rest

    • Not sure on Ramsey & Mustafi. Wenger will prioritise the Europa.

    • Just tweaked it! Will look again with Rambo and mustafi

        • Yeah looks good.A bit different to what ive been seeing.Jesus’s minutes are uncertain but i think they might play him in the league and save Aguero for champions league.Looks like Christenson might have picked up an injury.

  6. Hey guys, when exactly are the double gameweeks happening and when is the best times to use chips, excluding the TC. I was looking for a list of teams with doubles. Thanks guys.
