And to think i nearly went tripple hammers this week. Definitely a dark splodge on an otherwise brilliant week.
Come on Sterling, a cheeky 3 minute hatrick isn’t too much to ask for….

One blemish and one blemish alone, that’s the Chester OG which meant he scored 5 only with Williamson on the bench on 9 points. But I cannot complain. 164 points before bonuses, not the best by far but very happy with that. Like many, that’s my all time record.

Great scoring TJ, Ronnie O’Sullivan will be pleased to hear about my 147, not giving the (c) to Suarez wasn’t the major disaster it could have been.

So you gave it to studge as well did you? I would have liked it alot more if i hadn’t changed from Jaws to him at the last second. But for those few who captained Yaya, congrats.

So I should be around 162 points, which is good enough i think.

In the end, the whole Nolan vs AJ saga comes to an it. It was a pretty difficult choice for everyone, and people favored Nolan over AJ because of his home fixtures. But AJ outscored him by 2 points, which is insignificant in this DGW to be honest.

Anyway, AJ holders should definitely hold on to AJ till the DGW. He was electric against Liverpool, could have easily bagged 2 more assists if Altidore had been quicker with his feet.

Looks like I’ll end up with 147 after Stevie and Daniel’s BPS today. Not spectacular, but not too bad for only having 7 DGW players and not going crazy with hits.

Hopefully that will be enough to keep me moving up the ranks, now it’s time to start thinking about this week’s transfers! Right off the bat I’m thinking of bringing Lallana back for Nolan who was a total disappointment this week. What are people thinking about for transfers so far??

Kevin ‘the 4 pointer’ Nolan, as I call him now, shall get a weeks stay longer in my team (vs Sunderland, another ‘good’ fixture’) before I boot him out for Eriksen.

      • RedVT says:

Nice one james. I really like Eriksen and had him for a while. But he’s just not nailed on enough for me. I don’t know how he wasn’t starting when every time he came on the pitch he was Tottenham’s best player by a mile. But Sherwood’s obviously mental and I just don’t trust he’ll start enough.

        • jamesimmo says:

Cheers, yeah I admit Sherwood likes his erratic rotation of players, but given his Spur’s current situation and Eriksen’s performance vs Southampton I will be quite frankly STAGGERED if he doesn’t start from now on.

I’ve really set myself up here for when he doesn’t now!

      Red.

Im not sure whether people will favor Lallana any more, but his fixtures are quite decent. Currently Im looking at Eriksen and i can bring him by losing one of Gerrard or AJ. Since i already have SaS, i think Gerrard will be the one to go so i can keep AJ until DGW.

But yes, do look at Spurs fixtures from GW33 onwards. Sunderland, WB, Fulham, Stoke and WH.

I’ve loaded up on Everton players this week bringing in Barkley and Distin, Everton have Fulham at the weekend and a DGW in 34 so the -4 doesn’t seem like to big a risk. Be keeping a close eye on Man City at the weekend to see if Aguero makes it back or not, would probably like to get him into my team now if he’s fit.

      • jamesimmo says:

You’ll be with me on Distin Andy, I look forward to that game, as long as Mirallas gets a start and Coleman doesn’t go crazy!

      • RedVT says:

Martinez is another manager who I just can’t predict, so I’m hesitant to bring in Everton midfielders. My thought now after this DGW is that I’d rather have a player who is very good and 100% nailed on, rather than a halfway decent DGW player who MIGHT start both games.

We saw this past DGW that players like Lallana, J Rod, Ivanovic, and Hazard can score consistent points, and in some cases outscore their DGW counterparts. So I’m not going to let the DGWs be the only factor when I’m making transfers.

        • Andy says:

The Toffee’s have Fulham, Sunderland and Palace in 3 of their next four games, too hard to resist for me Red.

I wasn’t planning on making a sub this week. Was looking at Eriksen in for Mata the following week.

Only problem could be Sterling. Looks like his time is limited with Coutinho back.
