Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 32

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 32. It seems like forever since we last met – whether its been the friendly internationals, or wildcard planning or fretting on how to play the chips and navigate the last few intense weeks of the season. But it’s time to get back to what we know best – cheering on our players, watching clean sheets disappear and celebrating Salah scoring. And it’s our favourite Egyptian who kicks us off as he and his Liverpool chums travel down to Crystal Palace for the early kick off. Shame, that fixture was always better under the lights…

Six 3pm matches follow as Leicester go to Brighton, Man Utd host Swansea, Newcastle welcome Huddersfield, Bournemouth travel to Watford, doomed West Brom do battle with Burnley and Saints fans get to laugh at the West Ham fans in London. The evening match sees Champions-elect Man City take the short trip to Everton.

Sunday sees the final two matches of the game-week. First up Arsenal welcome Stoke to the Emirates before Spurs get to fight Chelsea at the Battle of the Bridge.

All good stuff – let’s get on it then!

Vardy salvaging a terrible GW with a late goal.
Really dependent upon captain PEA to climb the ranks!

Just had a look at your team pancho, you got pretty unlucky with a few late goals! You never know, it was a bold move to Captain PEA and it could pay off!
Key to remember that you’ve still got your Wildcard and all your chips available – many don’t. That’s an advantage for the upcoming gameweeks for sure!!

      • Pancho says:

Yeah Bob, for sure! Went with the risky differential captaincy to try to rise the ranks a bit. Would love to climb to the top 100k over the next few weeks and then deploy chips to maximum effect. A PEA hat trick would take me quite a way to accomplishing that!

Last minute changes of Chilwell to Morgan and Lukaku to PEA look to have backfired so far!! Hopefully PEA turns that around tomorrow.

Oooh that’s poor luck Matt. But that’s just it, half of this game is luck!!
You’re not alone in either of those decisions, and at least Morgan still got you a clean sheet!
Going for PEA over Lukaku is a popular move too – owning both, I feel confident PEA will at least match Lukaku’s 8 tomorrow. But who knows it’s all luck anyway haha

Ahh. I did the Chilwell to Morgan move yesterday too. Thought I was playing it safe after the Fuchs comments

I felt a bit disappointed seeing Chilwell as my first sub today…
Then had a look at my rival’s team – he had Schmeichel and Chillwell on his bench! Suddenly I didn’t feel too bad!!

Interesting to see though, all of the top 4 in my league all wildcarded and we all have basically the same Midfield of Son Mahrez Salah and Willian.
My differentials are Lukaku, Robertson and Sterling – will be interesting to see if holding onto the single gameweekers of Sterling and Robbo work out. Robbo’s already pulled in the goods!!

Always makes me think, it would be really interesting if we could see a comparison of what would happen if we didn’t chase singular gameweeks vs if we did. Eg, I feel we all got burned by Blank Gw 31. Similarly, some might get burned by chasing the dgws coming up – already seen some comments on people considering dropping Salah!! Comes back to the age old argument of Form over Fixtures… Anyway ramble over ahah

    Hi all,

I was chatting with Brooky about all the different chip strategies WC in GW32, 33, 34 and 36 and all the different timings for the FHs and BBs and TCs and that it would be fun to see which strategy comes on top.
So I set up a league for the run in until the end of the season called Final Furlong.
    The code is 866941-1283818

Please feel free to join especially if you have/are playing your chips.
Also everyone is welcome including people without chips who just want to join a league. It is purely for fun.

It started in GW32 but I left it to the last minute before the deadline so not many people have entered it.
I think I am right in thinking that the points will be added for GW32 even if you added to it later?

Please let me know if that’s not the case and I set up a new league starting in GW33
