Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 32
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 32. We’ve arrived at crunch time. The time when all that patience that has been on display so far this season is rewarded with massive scores. Our mini leagues will be recovered, our rankings will be elevated to season highs and life will be good again. Or so the legend has it.
We’re entering FPL fun of five successive days with ten clubs playing twice.
We kick off on Saturday lunchtime as Man City aim to reclaim top spot as they travel to Fulham. Now who says having a captain in the early game is bad luck?!
Five 3pm matches follow as south coast buddies Brighton and Southampton scrap it out, Burnley host Wolves, Huddersfield go to Palace, Leicester welcome Bournemouth and Watford visit Old Trafford. The late encounter sees Everton enjoying the hospitality of West Ham.
Sunday sees two matches as Chelsea enjoy free entry to the Principality to take on Cardiff before the big event of the weekend as we look forward to Mané vs Kane at Anfield.
No time to recover though because Newcastle face a Monday night encounter at Arsenal.
With still five matches to play this is no time to sit back and check rank for Tuesday brings us Watford vs Fulham and Wolves vs Man Utd.
Tired yet? We’re nearly there!
Wednesday evening sees our Game-week come to a conclusion and what a night it could turn out to be with the giants of Chelsea, Man City and errr Spurs entertaining Brighton, Cardiff & Palace respectively.
And if this isn’t enough for you, be aware that GW33 begins on Friday night, just 48hrs later!
The games in full…

Lindelöf didn’t play today as he received death threats after pulling out of the Swedish squad!
Sad Kop
Very!
That’s really bad, what is the world coming to!
The world is a sad sad place…
Averages are in…
Not doing so well drunk & only 40 points four to go
40’s all right – well above the average and the GW has barely started.
After the City game I had more points than I managed in the last GW.
At least you’re drunk I suppose 😉
Were there some dubious goals/assists today. The footy site is saying points are provisional, taking its time isn’t it ?
Seems up to date now.
Slightly crazily I started looking at the side for 33. I had a slight flashback though, remembering the last GW.
Cheers Kralin.
Just had a look myself given as you mentioned it. Feels weird getting a team back you’ve just spent two weeks trying to lose. Had 11 pop back out who have a fixture but about 8 of those don’t have a particularly good fixture! Should still be advantage to those who used FH this week though, even more advantage to those on a FH next week itself of course. Those who had to tackle this week without a FH may hopefully get even more of a surprise when they start to look at next week. (By ‘those’, I mean those in my ML). I get the feeling nailing a capo next week may be key, no pressure 😉
Going to be an interesting few weeks. Many will be back to planning an entire new squad again in 34 with a view to 35.
Yes, it should be an advantage. And then wildcard fun and games, mercifully not over an international break. Suddenly Brighton will become very hot.
Fortunately there are two very clear captain choices, as far as I can see. I’ve already said Hazard has done spectacularly well this GW, so you read it here first.
I doth my cap to your forward planning. Even if it’s taking into account things that are yet to occur
If it doesn’t come off then the comment will read, hopefully, as being ironic.
Just had another look and actually I lied; I have 4 who have decent enough fixtures to be considered for the armband, given as all 4 are forward ish players; Wilson v Burnley, Hazard v West Ham, Salah v Saints and Vardy v Huddersfield. Realistically it’s down to Hazard and Vardy I think. I did tidy up some IT on the article the other day but I deliberately didn’t look at the choices just yet (feels like cheating!), so I’ve no idea who you picked. Well ok, I did catch a rather haunting picture of a certain forward!
247 has been aces getting ready for 31 and 33, to save the FH for this week. I peeked too, and I’m delighted to have 11 starters, including the three obvious Pool picks, Hazard, Luiz, Wilson and Vardy. Here we go.
44 after day one. I’ll take that, especially with a ‘no-show’.
Good score GP. 53(-8) here. Sadly Bats didn’t work out. Hope Alonso does something tomorrow m
Nice one GP – plenty of time for your players to get on the points too
All good stuff. Schlupp didn’t let us down. Bad luck about Sane but his time will I’m sure come.
I cursed that late Watford goal.
Haha. Me too. Lost 6 points on Shaw immediately.
Hey Cookie – if you are around. Some call on the Palace defence – well paid off
He only went with Schlupp after all that!
:big-lol:
At least you got your full 90 between JesusKun To be fair, Jesus could now pay off massively in midweek, and will be a huge differential. I hope it does.
Agreed.
I wasn’t overly bothered by Kun coming off early today, given the volume of non-free hitters who’d TC him.
I thought, that’ll do, and then will take the DGW advantage with what I have left over those whose best shot has now been fired.
That was my exact thought too when I saw him depart. Decent enough captain return and huge damage limitation rolled into one.
Exactly. I’m slightly ahead in my ML, and the two chasers both TCed Aguero (since they’ve already used a FH and WC, respectively). Now I hope it’s time to move away.
