Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 32
Just as the Covid restrictions are becoming eased FPL goes all retro on us and casts us back to the mid-2020’s; those glory days when we had a game or two nearly every day to watch in the evening sun. GW32 is spread over 7 separate days and goes from Friday night to sometime next Thursday. We’d say strap in for the ride but in all honesty it’ll be the mundane meandering that we really don’t miss much as the GW goes on, and on, and on…
It may be worth having a flutter to pass the time and if so here you can find some good betting apps on which to do so.
It is of course a DGW, of sorts, with Spurs going twice. They kick us off on Friday with an away trip to Goodison at 8pm.
Saturday is fractured with just the two games either side of the FA Cup semi and the funeral of Prince Philip, our favourite Duke #RIP. Newcastle try to contain Jesse at 12.30pm and ‘ye of little FPL excitement’ Wolves host the same in the form of Sheffield Utd at 8.15pm.
We could continue to list the fixtures one by one but in all honesty we are bored even writing this, never mind thinking about living through them all one by one, very slowly. Bring back Saturday at 3pm please… for Jeff’s sake. The rest are on the pic below, if you can stay awake long enough to read it all.
The games in full…

Being an Arsenal fan is a real roller coaster these days, hoping we go all the way in the Europa league or this season is a bust
Was planning on Auba >> Salah this GW, should I still go ahead with it? Or await definite injury news on Kane? Also not sure about selling Auba as Lacazette came off injured so he will be starting once he’s recovered from malaria, plus his next 3 fixtures are Everton, Newcastle, WBA
Wait for news Veer.
Best to wait a while.
Thanks guys. News flying around says he’ll be out 2-3 weeks, even if he misses the game against Sheffield he’s probably worth keeping on the bench for one GW
In other news.
After blanking in 7 consecutive games I gave up on Haaland and didn’t C him in the Bundes.
He decided to comeback with a brace today
Did the same but it only cost me a couple of points. Star Muller got a decent score. My big mistake this week was missing the Dortmund kick off so I left Hummel’s and Reyna on the bench
My 3 transfers in FBL this week have scored 8 points. Whom I sold scored 15 points. Its like bad boys to worse boys.
Have to admit, missed quite a few deadlines this season.
Apparently there is a midweek round starting on Tuesday.
Set up an alert
Adios…
Is this the end of the champions league for English Spanish and Italian clubs?
It will be for the 12 involved, 6 of which are English. Leicester, West Ham, Everton and Leeds would qualify, in theory.
PSG and Bayern have declined to join it.
Surprised that PSG declined
I am too, but good on them. There are rumours that Man City were considering doing so too.
I never thought these six would be stupid enough to sign up for this
More games, more prone to injury, more headaches.
Won’t be more games, they’ll be banned for all other comps, rightly so. Good riddance.
If they kick them out from the Champions League for next year, as per table, it will be Leicester, West Ham, Everton and Leeds
Hmm…if thats the case, I guess players should stop joining these clubs. If they join, it will be clear that those players just want money.
Will have a knock-on effect with the English league needing to “promote” another 6 teams?
They will never be able to fit in another 22 games in the season even if only these 12 in it
There will be a transfer ban too (from / to existing leagues) meaning they are restricted to signing free agents or simply bringing through youth players and transferring amongst themselves.
I was hoping that Messi signs up for Everton or Leeds so that Leicester do not stroll to the next five titles. No transfers, kills that idea.
Will be following this news.
On the top of that, tomorrow is expected to be announced some new controversial format for UCL where the group stages will be dropped and replaced with 10 games for each team
I think I’d rather have an enlarged CL than a ridiculous Super League.
What I understood is that big CLUBS want to play this league on top of their existing regime. This is nothing but to generate more revenue for the clubs as their fan bases are deep. JP Morgan and DAZN also have agreed to share stake.
I guess there is no objection from anyone from football point of view – its just the revenue sharing model. Since there is no share of the pie to UEFA, EFA, Spanish FA etc., they raised objection. Now they want to ban the clubs from other competitions to stop this league. Tomorrow, if they get their share, it will take shape.
It’s not going to be possible to play the domestic leagues in their current form plus 22 super league matches
The depth they have they can still do. I assume most of the stadiums go full. Thus why will you lose 38 matches and replace by 22 unless you increase the ticket price. On top of that they have to travel a lot with the squad across Europe, that expenditure also will come into play. I am just trying to understand the benefit from club point of view.
Well put by Gary
+1m – whatta guy.
Fuller version.
Worth holding on to Bruno? 1 goal and 1 assist in 7 matches. Mainly good for penalties it seems.
Strongly considering switching him for Salah, though I also have Auba to get rid of
Would go for Greenwood if he started regularly. Even Rash would be an upgrade.
Haven’t seen today’s game but he looked tired in last league game he doesn’t get a rest burned out
Giving him the Leeds game. With BGW 33 upcoming and doubts over Kane and Lingard I have other priorities.
Will take a hit to take him out and upgrade
That late Cavani goal took Shaw’s bonus point away, every time I watch United he looks such a big attacking threat but it just doesn’t translate to FPL points
