Just as the Covid restrictions are becoming eased FPL goes all retro on us and casts us back to the mid-2020’s; those glory days when we had a game or two nearly every day to watch in the evening sun. GW32 is spread over 7 separate days and goes from Friday night to sometime next Thursday. We’d say strap in for the ride but in all honesty it’ll be the mundane meandering that we really don’t miss much as the GW goes on, and on, and on…

It may be worth having a flutter to pass the time and if so here you can find some good betting apps on which to do so.

It is of course a DGW, of sorts, with Spurs going twice. They kick us off on Friday with an away trip to Goodison at 8pm.

Saturday is fractured with just the two games either side of the FA Cup semi and the funeral of Prince Philip, our favourite Duke #RIP. Newcastle try to contain Jesse at 12.30pm and ‘ye of little FPL excitement’ Wolves host the same in the form of Sheffield Utd at 8.15pm.

We could continue to list the fixtures one by one but in all honesty we are bored even writing this, never mind thinking about living through them all one by one, very slowly. Bring back Saturday at 3pm please… for Jeff’s sake. The rest are on the pic below, if you can stay awake long enough to read it all.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 32 from all at FF247!

    Am I becoming old/ harsh/ cynical….?

I feel absolutely nothing for Sheffield United being relegated. They just looked like they collectively downed tools after 4 or 5 games and expected things to fix themselves or everyone was looking for someone else to fix it

Sadly, I also now get the impression that Wilder caused an awful lot of this.

And I loved them last season.

A team that missed (needed) their fans, sound familiar GP?

What did Wilder do GP? Or not do. Genuine question, I’ve not exactly looked into them much recently.

It’s a shame that they went from that to this so quickly. They were a Burnley in the making if only they’d all stayed patient. I know that’s an odd aspiration but be careful what you wish for and all that.

      • From what I’ve read he butted with the board on a number of matters most crucially the transfer policy. He wanted full control and that of scouting and the board wanted to open up into new markets etc but with him in charge still.

Got the impression he took a bit of a huff over it.

It was a strange decision to spend such a large sum on a striker then never start
him ! Henderson going back to United and losing O’Connell at the start of the season were massive. No crowd and no Lundstram heroics plus other teams working them.Second season syndrome ?

          *working them out

Massively overachieved last year. Small margins really the 1-0 wins just turned into 1-0 losses. Wilder stuff behind the scenes and a couple of big money signings on big wages turned out to be really bad probably upset the morale. They had a fair amount of injuries too throughout and then confidence just went completely

I quite liked this stat (from BBC): ‘Sheffield United are the first team to finish as high as ninth in the Premier League and be relegated the following season since Birmingham City (ninth in 2009-10, relegated in 2010-11).’

If SHU carry on with the trend of copying Birmingham, they’re going to be in the Championship for the next decade!

I feel sorry for Ramsdale most of all – relegated with BOU last year, SHU this year. He must think he’s cursed!

Looking ahead to gw 33 I will have a full starting 11. Fairly happy with my squad but I have 2ft and not really sure what to do. Any ideas? 0itb

Saka’s my main differential in my ML – need some magic (well, goals) from him today aggressive.

We (Arsenal) are very much Jekyll and Hyde in our games. With nothing left in EPL, all focus should be on EL. But there also success is not guaranteed. Our def. has improved, but has that element of error every match for a spell.
