Here’s my WC team so far with 0.2itb. I’ll me changing haz and Anderson before the end of the week. Early thinking is haz to a city player (kdb) and Anderson to son. 0.3 short for Ali.

Waiting for a kun update too, this could chance lots.

See Kolasinac in a bunch of drafts. Could yet find his way into mine but for now I am not sure. I dont think they have one away CS this season. Kol has 7 assists and 5 CS’s in 18/19 games. Thats pretty good but its the away form that is the concern. Lacazette over Auba gets you Eriksen as an option too. Pogba looks disinterested again

      • Kralin says:

I’m not that taken with any Arsenal player, yet, in that I can see more compelling cases for say Kun or Kane over Auba.

None of their midfield nor defence really grab me at all. I’d much rather have someone like Jota. Then on the enabling front, someone like Dendoncker of Wolves seems a better choice. However had better check he actually starts games regularly.

        • TheDreamers says:

Stephens better enabler than Dendoncker. Cheaper than Propper too.

        • Kralin says:

Sorry – I meant compared to someone like Xhaka of Arsenal.

Over the 2 GW then yes Stephens. If I were to play him.

Problem is I’d prefer Dendoncker in 35.

Actually after my slagging off of Arsenal I find their defensive players far more appealing than their midfielders. But even then, the likes of Holebas/Boly et al may help lubricate the rest of the side a bit better. But I can see a bit better where you’re coming from with Kolasinac.

      • Gavy says:

Hey dreamers, his attacking form is the only reason he’s still in my team. I am hoping each player can score 8+ points over the 2 games.

I might do kun to kane after 34. Just cant go without him v Huddersfield

      Kralin says:

      Bit thin on Man City.

I know one advantage of Arsenal is: they don’t play City.

Presumably Anderson is in there to check we’re paying attention.

      • Gavy says:

Not at all, just need to see which spurs player is replacing him. Will kun or jesus play both games?
City have a lot of football this month, spurs 3 times

        • Kralin says:

I’ve just rambled above about my Arsenal feelings. It is quite weird, considering they have a chance of finishing third. Their players are elusive to me.

Spurs though, yes, absolutely, given the Huddersfield warm-up they’ll have. Yet CL features for them, too.

Yes, playing time is always a tough thing to anticipate. May be easier to just keep the Liverpool players active.

The amount of times ive changed my mind on key decisions this season and its cost me points !!

      • TheDreamers says:

Same Brooky. I’m still haunted by selling Salah indirectly for Kane for a 12 point hit. And TC Salah over Mane due to the rumours a few weeks back. And buying Rondon for a hit this gw. And And And

Been a hard season. Was talking to a work colleague who was ahead of me a couple weeks back. He was beating me at the time (now a few points swing). He literally didnt know of the BGW and still beat me that week…..

      • blue_serge says:

Bringing in Aubameyang for Aguero (forget the exact gameweek) – the week Auba didn’t travel to Huddersfield and Aguero bagged a hattrick against Chelsea – is possibly the worst decision I’ve made in my history of playing the game -still not really over it.

      TheDreamers says:

Is that .5 or 5m itb Bees?

        • TheDreamers says:

3 Brighton seems too much defensively to me. Doherty , I have and I am questioning if he is worth it. Now he has been rested a bit of late too. Playing one of the Southampton guys wouldnt be the worst thing either. So I’d consider losing Doherty or Siggy to allow changing one of the Brighton defenders or have a plan for losing one GW35. Gw34 , they might be worth the triple up

      Kralin says:

I like the forward thinking of having two Liverpool players ready for 36.

The front three looks like state of the art for GWs 34 and 35.

The 3 x Brighton defence is brave but unravelling it may be tricky. You could ditch one of the defenders for someone like Holebas for 35.

Genuinely surprised about your choosing Siggy. I’d be thinking Jota, Deulofeu. Who are cheaper, too.

      • bees393 says:

Holebas does interest me. Certainly in GW35.
Planning to swap Siggi for Deulo in GW35.
Could play ATT, Doherty, Valery and Foster in GW35.
Will see where I end up.
Thanks for your comments and all the best K!

I am aiming for goals and CS not necessarily DGW players who often give me 1 or 2 points a game.
Am I crazy to have so many BRI players in def? Surely at least 1 CS?
      Thanks!

      • Kralin says:

Only Fulham, Huddersfield and WHU have kept less clean sheets than Brighton, to put it into context.

That’s the reality you’re working with.

I think Ryan is fair enough, good price as well, and maybe another, but three is pushing it a bit.

However Bees – it’s your team, your choice, and if you really fancy it go for it. Why not? It is good to play your own game, I find, because it’s very satisfying when the big calls like that come off.

        • TheDreamers says:

hi Kralin – Brighton at home are a much different beast than away. They have 16 goals against in 15 games at home with 30 against in 16 away.

        • Kralin says:

The clean sheets’ stats this season are fascinatingly weird, aren’t they. Arsenal have the worst record away from home; Man U at home have a worse record than Huddersfield.

        • bees393 says:

Thanks for that Dreamers. I see BRI only let in 16 goals at home. That is 5th best in the league after Spurs.

        • Kralin says:

It’s not so much the amount of goals though as just one goal against will completely kibosh your strategy. But you know the risks.

The Cardiff game looks promising; though Cardiff have to win that game. Could be a tad cagey. Bournemouth haven’t been the strongest away from home.

        • bees393 says:

Hah…will have to see if my nerves hold up to 3 Brighton in def lol.

I’m on 48 (-4) with Auba and captain Hazard to go. I’m happy with that. Just hope Hazard don’t blank

So whats peoples thoughts on Matip? Will he keep his place now than Gomez is close to return. Half FPL related, half not
