A minor. Does one lose one’s WCs on both WC34 and BB35? Much thanks.

Decent GW so far, but disappointing at the match today and I’m wishing I captained Vardy but 49 with Hazard (C) and Fabianksi isn’t too bad! Up to 69k so I’m finally moving in the right direction after a whole season of misery!

Stinker of a week. 31points with just Hazard © to play.

Well done site team. Vardy (c) was a stroke of genius

Latest wildcard draft. I think I’m set on a fair amount of players.

      Smash;
Do you “activate” these proposed changes, or revert it back to your previous team, once you have finished tinkering?
Just wondering how you “protect” this proposed set up, seeing as it gives you no budget to play with…..

      Thanks for your help…

I have done a bit of half and half. Keeping an eye on price rises. I think I might want Leno and JWP currently do have bought them in already. Same with Hudson-Odoi. Just keeping an eye on price changes. Fairly sure I’m going to go with a number of these so will likely confirm them soon

Yes looks fine. You could copy Bees’ wheeze of 3x Brighton defence and hurriedly move one out for 35, but other injuries may crowd things and get in the way and you’ll end up being lumbered with them for the rest of the season.

I was thinking earlier what I’d do if Kun is injured. And I thought Vardy will do. Then I thought: shall I keep Vardy anyway? Nice fixtures 34 and 35. 36 as well, frankly. Very nice. Is nailed. In great form, as is Leicester. Problem is he’d be in for Kun as I want Kane and Jiminez.

      • Smash says:

Triple is too much for me. Expect to be stuck with one of them anyway. Might need the transfers to get Salah in for that Huddersfield game tbh. I’d expect Aguero to be fine. Vardy could be a decent placeholder for Kun this week. Could keep and leave cash in the bank for Kun

        • Kralin says:

Yes I’m semi-minded to do that (keep Vardy for now).

          At this moment, anyway.

        • Smash says:

Though I sold him last night I noticed just bought him back so lost 0.1. Not a big deal though as will prefer Aguero if fit

        • Kralin says:

I smiled when I saw Pogba played no part in your thinking.

I have an irrational belief he’ll do something versus WHU.

But I can’t have too many players for 34 that I want to move out for 35.

        • Smash says:

Yeah I still have Pogba. Though think he will go. He was great when he was off the front but they seem to have dropped him deeper again for some reason

Mane up against Chelsea next week. I dont see a big scoring game, I love pool but will have none of them the next 2 weeks. The 2 from 36 in.

Maybe him to Ali for Huddersfield game and swap him to pogba for 35?

      • Smash says:

You are right I don’t really see a high scoring game there. Problem is I see me wanting Salah for the Huddersfield game do may need the future transfers that’s why I’m a bit hesitant. Liverpool have a decent run of games after Chelsea till the end

With the way huddersfield are playing is all our spurs on my WC team a good idea? Did have pogba but swapped him to son

    • 96.1
      Kralin says:

It’s not a bad idea at all, however one huge caveat: Man City. Spurs’ fixtures are great (beyond 35 as well) if you take Man City out of the equation. But those three ties are huge and you’d think rest will play its part, possibly, in the Huddersfield and Brighton games.

Having said that, Spurs’ league form has been dire and they’re now in a fight for 3rd / 4th so they can’t take their foot off the gas too much.

In the past we’d always have said, Kane is nailed; not sure about the rest. I’m getting mildly obsessed about Spurs this wildcard. If only they’d been knocked out of the CL.

      • hammers says:

Good point about man city. Kind of getting blinkered by the huddersfield game.

Maybe just one of son or eriksen would be best, Erik probably more secure as moura can be competition for son

      Smash says:

Not sure I’d want to be stuck with triple Spurs. But yeah double coverage for sure
