Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 33

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 33. From 15 games we go straight to the other end of the spectrum with just 6. And boy is this one dragged out! We begin on Friday evening with Liverpool going to Southampton, for a game for once, not just a scouting mission. Saturday then sees just three games and all are at 3pm. Bournemouth entertain Burnley, newly relegated Huddersfield host newly invigorated Leicester and Palace take a trip up north to Newcastle

Just the one game on Sunday as Everton welcome Arsenal before Chelsea ‘welcome’ West Ham on Monday to see us out for the final BGW of the season.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

    Hey All
    Am on WC.
Looking to BB on GW35, and TC on GW36 for Pool v Huddersfield.
What are peoples thoughts on my team so far.
    Still have 0.8m ITB

I’m not too sure on Vardy. I’m not mad on their fixtures and don’t think Leicester will do much.

      • Kralin says:

One of my biggish calls will be whether to keep Vardy for the home game v Newcastle. I’m looking at his, and Leicester’s (hotly chasing 7th spot) form and thinking this is not an overly risky thing to do. Nailed, too.

        • MattX says:

That is true! I’m still just unsure about him.

        • Kralin says:

I may hedge my bets and keep him for 34 then move out for 35. But Leicester’s fixtures are good. Arsenal in 36 as well, I think. Vardy may be handy for that one and people will be clamouring to get Liverpool players in that week.

I’m trying to see this wildcard as one for weeks 34-36 rather than drift moth like into the lights of 35, neglecting other things.

      Looks fine.

I do intend on ditching Vardy. Just not sure for who?
Not sure if Salah or Mane is best?
Whether I need City/Man Utd cover for the doubles.
Dont like having 3 Wolves players either at moment..lol

        • Kralin says:

I didn’t notice the lack of City. Well there’s your Vardy swap: Kun.

Maybe Salah to Mane will enable that.

You could get a cheaper 2nd keeper to save a few bob.

        • hammerfan_lm says:

I do have Ryan and Leno… both cheap, and both have doubles.
If I do Salah->Mane it gives me 1.1m. left ITB to upgrade around the team.
That way I can do Vardy->Aguero for the doubles.
Maybe for GW36, i could maybe do Son->City player if need be, depending on injuries etc. I know Spurs are at home to West Ham, but City have Burnley.

        • hammerfan_lm says:

I have swapped Leno->Foster (for now), but is it wise me having double Brighton defence (goalie/defender) for the next gameweek?

        • Kralin says:

I’m currently thinking Ryan and Duffy and have no major issues with that. Duffy may well become someone else in 35 if injuries elsewhere don’t force my hand. If I’m stuck with him then I’m stuck with him.

        • hammerfan_lm says:

I am still worried about my defence, whether to have Mane/Salah. Do I swap Vardy->Aguero!!!
I have done Bennett->Doherty and Holebas-A.Smith to try things, and still don’t know. Not sure on AWB and his fixtures.
