Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 33. From 15 games we go straight to the other end of the spectrum with just 6. And boy is this one dragged out! We begin on Friday evening with Liverpool going to Southampton, for a game for once, not just a scouting mission. Saturday then sees just three games and all are at 3pm. Bournemouth entertain Burnley, newly relegated Huddersfield host newly invigorated Leicester and Palace take a trip up north to Newcastle
Just the one game on Sunday as Everton welcome Arsenal before Chelsea ‘welcome’ West Ham on Monday to see us out for the final BGW of the season.
The games in full…

Really glad that i took -4 to bring in lacazette and mané for this gameweek….
I too have Laca…what a waste of space. ARS have no fight in them. A real sad bunch.
I don’t know, this looks to be a lacklustre performance with no explanation whatsoever. This is what we expected at the beginning of the season, but Emery raised our expectation.
Boom. Digne cs.
Sorry mate. Took a hit to get Hazard and Hiquain. They can still do the same.
Hazard is my captain and the only one who can save this weekend. Milivojevic and wan B are the only ones in my team with more than 2 points…
Arsenal can forget about CL if the play like this, they need every single point they can get….
Hey All
Am on WC.
Looking to BB on GW35, and TC on GW36 for Pool v Huddersfield.
What are peoples thoughts on my team so far.
Still have 0.8m ITB
I’m not too sure on Vardy. I’m not mad on their fixtures and don’t think Leicester will do much.
One of my biggish calls will be whether to keep Vardy for the home game v Newcastle. I’m looking at his, and Leicester’s (hotly chasing 7th spot) form and thinking this is not an overly risky thing to do. Nailed, too.
That is true! I’m still just unsure about him.
I may hedge my bets and keep him for 34 then move out for 35. But Leicester’s fixtures are good. Arsenal in 36 as well, I think. Vardy may be handy for that one and people will be clamouring to get Liverpool players in that week.
I’m trying to see this wildcard as one for weeks 34-36 rather than drift moth like into the lights of 35, neglecting other things.
Looks fine.
I do intend on ditching Vardy. Just not sure for who?
Not sure if Salah or Mane is best?
Whether I need City/Man Utd cover for the doubles.
Dont like having 3 Wolves players either at moment..lol
I didn’t notice the lack of City. Well there’s your Vardy swap: Kun.
Maybe Salah to Mane will enable that.
You could get a cheaper 2nd keeper to save a few bob.
I do have Ryan and Leno… both cheap, and both have doubles.
If I do Salah->Mane it gives me 1.1m. left ITB to upgrade around the team.
That way I can do Vardy->Aguero for the doubles.
Maybe for GW36, i could maybe do Son->City player if need be, depending on injuries etc. I know Spurs are at home to West Ham, but City have Burnley.
I have swapped Leno->Foster (for now), but is it wise me having double Brighton defence (goalie/defender) for the next gameweek?
Why not
I’m currently thinking Ryan and Duffy and have no major issues with that. Duffy may well become someone else in 35 if injuries elsewhere don’t force my hand. If I’m stuck with him then I’m stuck with him.
I am still worried about my defence, whether to have Mane/Salah. Do I swap Vardy->Aguero!!!
I have done Bennett->Doherty and Holebas-A.Smith to try things, and still don’t know. Not sure on AWB and his fixtures.
Site Team has just Digne today. Obviously. He gets 2 BPS too. Obviously. Razorlight songs comes to mind.
You know you won’t remember a thing!! Bit like me yesterday!! Haha great win mate!
And there’s your intro.
First I benched Wan-B and played Ake. Then sold Digne and got Emerson for 1 week punt. Thats how my luck played this round. Now I hope stomach ache, flu for Emerson and super energy drink for Alonso.
Bravo to the site team. Must have stormed into the top 10. Great stuff.
I was having a vague look at the league earlier and was pleased to see this hot race for 7th developing.
Probably blue sky thinking but I like to imagine that the majority are behind it doing well. Makes for a worthless article if it’s on its arse.
Doing it by committee is very sensible.
The best of managers can have a season unravel on them and to do so publicly would be horrible.
If it was just one person I wouldn’t entertain it.
Pistol used to do it!
Pistol ran out of bullets
well done site team!
Doherty scored 1-0
he assists another for good ole jimmy. i am happy to keep him and jimmy on.
Averages after Day 3.
The wildcarding continues…. again…
I know alderweireld is a bit much but I don’t really know where else to spend the money… suggestions?
This is with the aim of a BB Allan? Do you have TC left?
BB in 35, gave TC to aguero last week…
I had some vague thoughts of doubling on the Spurs mids (+ Kane) and praying who I pick starts v Huddersfield and Brighton. But will probably leave it at Kane and Son/Eriksen as that (maybe ropey) strategy means no City mids (unless I only go for B Silva).
