Days of yore
Back to a relatively bog standard GW, certainly in so much as there are 10 games and every team features just once. Albeit one after the other in this new endless procession of games that we have to endure to please TV audiences. Surely there wouldn’t be an outcrying of grief, even from the woke crowd, if just occasionally they lumped a few together at 3pm on Saturday for old times sake?! Just take a game involving a couple of crap teams who even their own supporters would be glad of a break from and sneak it un untelevised. Newcastle vs Arsenal springs to mind!
But we digress… GW 34 begins on Friday as Saints attempt to exorcise their (one of now many) 9-0 demons vs Leicester.
Man City kick Saturday off for us by no doubt going yet another win closer to the title when they visit Palace at 12:30pm. Brighton & Leeds get the prime ‘Stelling (Jeff)’ spot at 3pm before fellow CL rotatinaires (new word alert!) Chelsea host Fulham at 5:30pm. Everton and Villa see us out at 8pm.
There may or may not be a game on Sunday at 2pm, depending on how quickly we can get ourselves appointed to the PL Fixtures Committee. Man Utd and Liverpool do battle at 4:30pm, in a tribute to by-gone-days, before Spurs attempt to kill off most peoples GW by labouring against an already relegated Sheffield Utd at 7.15pm.
West Brom will seek to find new ways to throw after the safety rope vs Wolves at 6pm on Monday and then Burnley will attempt to see to Moyes’ CL dream at 8.15.

Surely they can arrange the game to be played in the next couple of days.
The reason was postponed, it was delayed for too long which ruined dietary and warmup regime for the players.
Can’t see it United play Europa semi thurs so why would they want to play it early

But do any manu fans on here agree with what has happened today? I live in Ireland where are lockdown is still pretty harsh and football is one of the few things I have to look forward on weekends. So know my Sundays ruined
Gravy I don’t think anyone can agree with what has happened today, every one had a right to protest but there is a right way to do it and peacefully
I don’t agree with the invasion of the stadium. A protest outside would suffice.
The only good thing out of this that they made a strong point.

Call it extreme if you like, but I propose they hit them hard and hit them fast with a major, and I mean major, leaflet campaign.
My immediate reaction was the same Gavy, in that it has simply ruined many a people’s day, across the world.
I wouldn’t like to rush to judgements but my first conclusion was that the protestors should be rounded up and summarily executed on the pitch.
Pitch invaders get a lifetime ban when a game is on. That should apply to these yobs. And MNU should lose their privelege to have supporters for their last home game.
Well that puts me down to 7 players. I find it pretty unbelievable that in the three game weeks impacted this season by postponements I’ve been affected massively.
Hey smash, I got hit by 1 via covid. This one just hits different
I lost 4 players from Villa v Everton, 5 from City and Spurs game week and now 5 from this GW all due to random postponements
That really sucks Smash. Lost four plus Jota my only bench option this week.

Same here, probably even worse, I still remember the Spurs game postponed which killed me completely.
I’m just a bit surprised they really couldn’t play today, that seems extra cautious

Looks like a low score GW. 18pts now & 4 players to go, with Salah/Jota out. Just a f**ded up season. Who the hell were the fans with green/good scarfs, and what the hell were they doing there. Looks like a bunch of drunks, similar to an NFL pre-game .I remember that they would start pouring them down on Saturday to get ready for the Sunday kickoff. All in good fun. I guess.
